Let me first start off by saying thanks to Robb and everyone else here @ TPR for keeping us coaster nuts well informed with the world of theme parks and Knotts Berry Farm.

 

I have a couple of questions about the season pass @ magic mountain. I live down in San Diego and I visit SFMM every year but I've never bought a season pass.....well this year I thought I give it a try since I planned more then one trip this year. I plan on buying online or @ front desk before park opens.

 

Now I want to use one of the free friends tickets for my girlfriend do I have to use valuable time when the parks open taking the picture for my I.D card or is this place open before the park so I can handle that ahead of time? Can I use the free friend ticket the same day.

 

Also is June 3 a good day to visit this year? I know its a Tuesday but is this a little to close to spring break??

The processing place is actually inside the park now, where Flashback was. So basically you can do it at any point during the day.

 

June 3rd should be okay, most primary schools out here don't let until a couple weeks later.

The free friend coupons this year are VERY DATE RESTRICTIVE!!!

This topic prompted me to get out my own booklet and take another look at it.

 

There's no free parking pass this year (but I have the Xtreme Play Pass anyway, so that doesn't matter; however, with Diana having the regular pass, she'll have to pay every time).

 

There is a new one: bring a friend free to another Six Flags park, meaning that if we take a trip up to, say SFDK, we could bring a friend free there. This is a new perk.

 

Also, there are several Free Large Soda with Combo Purchase ones. This is also a new one for 2008 (at least I don't remember it in any previous years).
