NL - Kingda Ka

I finally got NL about a week ago and here is my first coaster, it's an attempted copy of Ka. I'm sure this has been done before, but I felt that it would be a good start for me.

p.s. I wish NL had a hydraulic launch for Intamins!

VERY good for a first coaster (or any NL coaster)!

 

A couple things:

- Does KK launch right out of the station? Or is it like TTD where it stops on a launch track, then launches?

- I don't think the airtime on the camelback is really that intense... is it?

Kinda Ka is just like Top Thrill Dragster with the launch. It comes out of the station before it launches. Anyways they could launch it out of the station with the transfer track.

For a first coaster, very good. Recreation-wise, the tophat is a little off (kinda RCTish), the airtime hill is actually only 129-ft. instead of the nearly 180 you have, and the brakes should start a little higher. Also, I've always thought that for Intamin magnetic brakes, you're best off hiding the brake device, and using the transport device for deceleration for a smoother stop.
