XLRBR Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 You may think this is just a Dejavu rec., and it is. But, this one is as close as you can get to the real thing. It even has a chain on the second fall! I really, really hope you like it, and I'll try and post a vid later if I can and/or you want me to. And I'll post some pics if someone'll tell me how to change the pictures from bmp to whatever they're supposed to be. Hope you like my rec.! [InvertedVerticalShuttle]DeJavu.trk This one's just like the real DeJavu!
crispy Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 you can change photo's from .BMP to .JPG in good old paint open the image in paint, goto file, and Save As. near the bottom of the box it says "Save as type:" and a pull down window, select .jpg, and there you go
XLRBR Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 Thanks! I'll do that. Then I'll post the pictures. If they aren't too big.
XLRBR Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 Ok! Here's some pics! Hope you like! And another one. A shot of the backwards fall. An overall, aerial view. The Train.
XLRBR Posted June 27, 2005 Author Posted June 27, 2005 Now since this is at least my seventh creation, tell me the truth people. Do you actually like what I build? Cos if you don't, I'll stop posting them. But if you do, I have three more creations to give you. It would be a huge help if you told me. Thanks! --Davon
kenshinmac Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 I hate that you can't really recreate it... Check out http://www.rcdb.com/ig746.htm?picture=7 to see what it looks like.
XLRBR Posted July 1, 2005 Author Posted July 1, 2005 ^Well sorry. I made a new and improved version because once a built it in this one park I made, I noticed it looked nothing like the real one. So if it'll make you happier, I can post that one. Gosh.
XLRBR Posted July 1, 2005 Author Posted July 1, 2005 ^No actually it didn't take that long. You know, considering the fact I made none of the tower structures. But, if you were being sarcastic with that question, I'm going to feel really silly about posting this.
LOVE SFKK Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 um its not that hard to make a dejaie clone with a chainlift! (OMG) AND if you were actually gonna post it on TPR i would have at Least Tryed to make the tower supports! i mean seriously but heh it looks justy as good as dejavu which is SOOO cool ( and yes im being sarcastic so dont feel silly! )
phazan Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Well, it's okay, but there really isn't a way to make DeJe Vu the right way on RCT3. Not that YOU don't have the ability, I don't think anyone does.
goleafsgo Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 lol. anybody can make that in like 2 minutes. at least take the time to do the custom supports if youre trying to do a recreation of a boomerang-type ride.
coasterdude5 Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 But Deja Vu overlaps itself, that's impossible to do on RCT3.
timetrial3141592 Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Wrong. There is one way to make the loop over the station, and it does not involve track merging. Split the boomerang, and add a 1/4 turn in between the inversions. Adjust the heights so the loop can go over the station. Then add another 1/4 turn to make the spikes parallel. It looks unrealistic, but the loop does go over the station.
