StarSpeeder3000 Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Not only is it busy..it's VERY VERY HOT!!
larrygator Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 ^"it's not so much the heat as the humidity"
BeemerBoy Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 ^ lol. That serioulsy needs to be Florida's new motto.
Erik Johnson Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 It would honestly be better to visit in Late September or October than August. The worst time to visit Florida would be from June-August. The parks a super crowded and yes its really hot due to the humidity.
ebl Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 I've been to Florida in July (hot and humid) and in October (much more bearable---almost as nice as Southern California where I live). Better to go in October. Also, that's when the International Food & Wine Festival is going on at Epcot. Think CHOUP!!! Think October. Eric
dan81 Posted February 23, 2008 Author Posted February 23, 2008 thank you for all the advice i am not worried about the heat so much just how busy it is because its the only time i can go
BarryH Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 August is a busy time for the Orlando theme parks, although the end of the month is less busy than the beginning. If you really want to go at a good time, try October. The day crowds tend to be moderate, but you also have the various Halloween events going on at night.
