DBru Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 After seeing all of your creations on this site, as well as on Youtube, I really want to get involved in the program. Now, I tried the Demo a few years ago, but after a few minutes, I lost hope. I made some pointy lines and saw some strange buttons, but didn't see a way to use scenery, ride my coaster, remove track, or smooth out any strange transitions. If I stick with it long enough, will I discover how to do these things, or is the demo just a waste of time?
dr.gumbo Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 The demo's nearly exactly like the real game, just with limitations. And yes you will learn how to use it in time, but I must warn you to make a quality ride you need to take a lot of time and patience.
hyyyper Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 For the fun and possbiliities NoLimits is certainly worth purchase. There should be a manual on the NL-site somewhere, you might wanna check that out. Also, in the demo you can ride your own tracks in the sim, and also not save your tracks.
Angry_Gumball Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Before I had the full version, I always tinkered with the demo although I couldn't save. Sure, I never took the time to finish a coaster, but I'd experiment with different parts/sections of rides to get the feel of how it works. I think I messed with the demo for a year or so...I forgot.
