robbalvey Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/623/623587p1.html I for one hope they can get thier differences sorted out. Thoughts? --Robb
CoasterFanatic Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 I think that most of the bickering is usually part of the negotiation process. There has never been a single studio that has the track record of Pixar. Every movie they have ever done has outgrossed the last. Success always makes the negotiation process even harder. Just ask the casts of shows like Friends, Seinfeld, Sopranos etc.
maliboomer Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 I want to see a Pixar movie without Disney, just to see if they need each other.
disneygurlz2s Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 I soooo hope they work things out! I know that each could do good movies without the other, and probably Pixar would do better, but I would still like to see their partnership continue. Shari
Sir Clinksalot Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 They don't NEED each other, but it's been a beneficial relationship for both studios. Pixar just wants more of the pie, and it's their right and they should have more because they rock. Disney needs to realize though that the impact of NOT having Pixar will effect them more because of the parks.
Coasters 4 ever Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Some of my favorite movies are Disney/Pixar! They better keep working together! They can't stop making movies like The Incredibles and Monsters Inc.! Those movies are hilarious.
RCTfan Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Disney seems to need Pixar more. Since Eisner closed dow the animation part, Brother Bear was really the last big cartoon effort from them. Now everything is CGI. I hope things get better, because I LOVE Pixar movies, they are some of my favorites as well. KITTY! JELLYMAN! Dude. They rock.
maliboomer Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 FFS, I hate Eisner so much. Iger, either bring back the Animation department, or go hump Eisy.
