Hey everyone!

The rugby world cup has started in France with Argentina upsetting the hosts 17 - 12. For those of you who don't know what the rugby World Cup is, its basically like the Fifa World Cup of Rugby. If you don't know what rugby is, click here.

This is the thread to discuss the world cup, if anyone else is actulaly interested. The USA are in the world cup as well, btw. S yeah, discuss here!

I was very shocked at the result last night. The Argentina squad all looked overwhelmed during the anthem, a few looked like they were seconds from Tears. But credit to them, they seemed to capitalise on every France mistake and did very well on Defence. This group is wide open now and I can see France missing out.

I don't predict any upsets today, although Japan will give the Aussies a good run for their money.

Finally I would like to bring up the last RWC...

New Zealand 76 Italy 14

Australia 91 Japan 3

England 28 USA 10

Wales 42 Canada 17

South Africa 59 Samoa 7

Scotland 56 Portugal 10

Ireland 32 Namibia 17

Go Australia!

Good to see Australia pound a team of midgets 91-3, may be a different story against Wales at Cardiff this week. Lote Tuquiri looks like a very frustrated footballer not playing well at all.

Props to the Argies for beating the Frogs, that win was based on pure ticker, the Pumas were just throwing themselves at Les Bleus. The garlkic eaters will pretty blue if they go down to Ireland - no quarter finals for you!

All credit to minnows USA and Namibia for really taking to more fancied rivals, they both should have gone down by a 100 points and actually had reasonably tight games against England and Ireland.

The All Blacks, are they peaking too early, will they choke again, only time will tell.
