She isnt the coasterfan I am, so we must do something for her... I Think something with nature, horse riding stc. So... my plans are... Cedar Point / Kings Island and Holidayworld I will land in Cleveland and will fly back maybe from Louisville. So is any here who live in this area and can give me some tips to do between the costering .... Any close touch to nature.... no camping an no VIP-price holidays.... Please help! Nicole will not only visit Amusement Parks! And without her its more expensive for me! i forgot... I plan to visit in middle end May 2008. Is it a good time for these parks? very less crowds, a little bit of good weather....
Airtime&Gravity Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 There is a state park consisting of several islands by Cedar Point, but other than that or any other state parks you come across, you might not find many nature opportunities.
MrTwister Posted August 20, 2007 Author Posted August 20, 2007 Are there no landscapes like Pennsylvania´s Pocono Mountains in the Columbus / Cincinatti area...?
spaceace12 Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 coming from Kings Island to Holiday world is Blue Springs Caverns.
disneygurlz2s Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Holiday World is just outside the Hoosier National Forest (Indiana). I don't know much about it, but there are links to quite a few things from HW website. In Kentucky there are loads of state parks and caves, lakes, etc. The one I visited many times when I was a kid was Natural Bridge in the Daniel Boone National Forest. It is probably about 1- 2 hours southeast of Louisville. Lexington, Kentucky has the Kentucky Horse Park, which is a tourist attraction based around Kentucky's horse-breeding and racing history. Also someone mentioned the islands on Lake Erie near Cedar Point. Those are supposed to be really nice. Good luck with your planning.... Shari
