Hasbury Amusement Park

Hello folks, my name is Jeff Jefferson and I'm gonna be showing you a few pictures of my new local park this summer. The construction started three years ago in 1996 and the park hope to open in 2000. It's quite a big park; which is set against a mountain backdrop with a flwoing lake infront. Shortly one could assume a boardwalk area going in this area.

 

So far all I have to show you are a few new pictures and the park's logo. The land was bought by the park after the tourism group owning land against a mountain sold the land to get them out of heavy debt. Soon after they got planning permission to start building the park.

 

Next Year I've heard rumours of: A Pirate Section with a new log flume and tropical rides although I'm not too sure. All I know is there sure is some construction going on to the right of the park.

 

 

(For those of you who have never seen my creations I do not believe in using Custom Scenery. I have decided not to use any for this project but will be using the Construction set for the updates; before deleting it to save the game. But no custom scenery will be used otherwise so that when you come to get to dowload as many people as possible can play the park.)

I love the vintage cars, Slide and the Robo Arm in the Racers section. You can also see the mountain in the background.

Here's the shiny new coaster. It's a racing coaster in the racers section. The colour scheme still remains from whereever the park bought the ride from though. Oh yeah; Ford have decided to sponsor the ride and have announced that they will be paying for the theming around the ride.

Here you can see the Wild Wild West section. Just kiddie raides here ianly. The ark could do with a decent sized coaster here. Mind you the show I've seen the staff rehaersing looks cool.

This is the prehistoric section; in the background you can see a frisbee ride. There's a waltzer, a Dino Go round and as you can see a nice kidie coaster where kids go over and under the tree canopy in miniature dinosaurs. I think the ride is going to be alot smoother than The Grand National at Blackpool.

I Agree, I'm gonna play around with the colours; and probably put in a new sign. At the moment it looks huge. Any ideas regarding the colours or the sign? I'm thinking Red and Black maybe?

The prehistoric section looks nice, but the rest of the park with cacti in what looks like the middle of the path to the colors of the rides, to the boxy architecture to the narrow mountain look unusual. It's creative, and it's unrealisticness(is that even a word) actually make it an interesting park.

Thanks; I was aiming for reality and then I thought to myself without using custom scenery how the hell am I going to do that. So instead I opted for kinda mad ideas. Anyway I hope you like the park.

 

Oh yeah; I'm just wondering what you mean by "boxy arcitexture" do you mean my buildings?

I dislike the racer: it wasn't that brilliant in RCT1 (it is a premade; I never use premades besides my custom "signature rides", e.g. Bobs, Funfer Looping, Corkscrew, Rex Gravitatis/Banshee, Cyclone New, Cyclone @ Idylwild, Silberpfeil, Racer 2, Racer 4, etc.) Personally, I suggest you revamp it with swoop turns for the turnarounds.

I was wondering how long people would take to work out it was a premade ride. Generally to try and hide that fact I just say that the park bought it from anopther park... Anyway I'm gonna go and have a look into changing it...alot.
