My Recipe - Orange Potatoes (nothing to do with sweet potatoes)

This is something my mom made for me when I was just a toddler. And she still makes it for me today, we call it Orange Potatoes (no association with sweet potatoes.)

Ingredients: 1/2 Stick Butter, 1 Pouch Of Sazon Goya - Con Azafran Seasoning, Pre - Cut Potatoes

Utensils: Fry Pan, Spatula

Cooking Steps:

1. Turn stove on to medium heat

2. Add half stick of butter (wait for it to melt before moving on)

3. Add Sazon Goya seasoning to butter

4. Add Potatoes

5. Move the potatoes around to spread the seasoning

6. After 3 - 4 minutes flip the potatoes

6. Move the potatoes around to spread the seasoning

7. Let cook for 3 minutes while moving them around

8. Plate the potatoes

9. Enjoy

My Tip - Grilling

When grilling to add some extra pizzazz to your dish, throw some herbs into the fire, this will create a nice smokey flavor.

My Question - Cracking Eggs

I heard that the better way to crack an egg is on a flat surface, is this true? And do you know why?

I usually crack my eggs on the edge of the sink or counter. You just have to make sure there aren't any shell pieces inside when you dump the egg in a bowl or whatever.... On a flat surface, I can't see anything other than smashing it, or barely denting the egg.

OK, so here is an actual family recipe, since I noticed this thread was lacking:

Weirdo Yummy Tomato Cheese Soup Chicken Casserole Thing A La Amanda

Ingredients:

Chicken (preferrably boneless skinless breasts or tenderloins, but anything will work)

Broccoli Cheese Soup, any brand (2 cans)

Canned tomatoes (the chopped ones, DRAIN THE FREAKING CAN FIRST)

Grated cheese (your favorite, we used cheddar)

Breadcrumbs

Casserole dish (a glass rectangular one)

1)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

2)Dump 1 can of soup in the casserole. (This depends on how much chicken you are putting in, otherwise 1 can will be enough to cover all)

3) Put the chicken in.

4) Add the other soup (if necessary) and tomatoes

5)Spread a good thick layer of grated cheese on top, then a good amount of breadcrumbs

6) Cover the pan with tinfoil and bake at 350 degrees F until everything is gooey, bubbly, and delicious-looking.

7) Enjoy!! YUM!!

Chicken Wing Dip-It's SOOO good!

8oz. Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded

Two 8oz. bricks cream cheese

1 cup of Red Hot hot sauce

1/2 cup blue cheese dressing

1/2 cup ranch dressing

As much cooked cut up small chicken as you see fit

Mix everything in an oven safe thing, make sure there's room, it makes a lot. Stir well, and bake until bubbly and hot. I usually do 400 degrees for around 30-40 minutes, stiring every 10 or so. Best with Tostito's Scoops.

When I make this mainly for myself, I cut the recipe in half.
