I'm sorry but this is very bad, there should not be a tire at the top of the first drop, the brake on the second hill is fine, the train does not make it thorugh the course, and it is almost 1000' too short.(Yes, 1000, your recreation is 2618.89' long, and the real one is 3600' long)

oh sorry this wasnt a really Exact Model for you pro's

Well it should be an exact model if it is a recreation. I don't mean to be rude but you should at least check to see that it is accurate, and that it completes the course...

I don't really agree with that, it's really difficult making a exact copy of a rollercoaster... I think that when the lay-out is the same it's a good recreation.

my only comment is that it's not good because it goes to slow and doesn't make the hill... otherwise I can't really comment on how good the recreation is, I never been on shockwave. I know how difficult it is to make a recreation

Well different people have different opinions, but I totally agree with you. Making a 100% perfect recreation is very very hard, and in my opinion it's almost impossible. At least you have to have a big NL experience to do it.

However, I also agree with Vekoma Fan Boy - you could have checked to see if the train was making it through the whole layout..

EDIT:

I forgot the comment on the part of the coaster which made it through the track

There were some parts, where it was quite slow - try to rebuild some of these.

I think your loops were great - they only had green g's, but after the last loop, the entering up the hill would hurt - you could risk whiplash or something like that. So make that part more smooth.

If you make the things I just said and of course build the track so the train can make it through the whole ride, I think it could be a pretty good coaster.

And btw. Do you have the track smoother???

Now I also agree that is is EXTREMELY hard to make a perfect or near-perfect recreation. But, this is almost 1000' (about 305 meters) too short, now if it were around 100' or more too short, it would have been a very good recreation in my eyes. But why don't you try creating your own coasters first, (by that I'm not saying you stole it, I just mean stay away from recreations) then, once you are more versed in NL, come back to this. You will see a MAJOR difference.

Yeah - I see what you mean...

I would also say that you should stay away of recreations, if you don't have that much experience.

Personally I've even not thought about making recreations yet - I've just entered the "inspiration-of-other-coasters-phase" and I still think that's quite difficult.

But when CoasterJunkie94 had tried to make a recreation, I think that he should try to finish his project..

So CoasterJunkie94: Keep on trying

Oh well I understand I mean I've made at least 4 and almost all of them suck. Nolimits just takes tons of practice.

Edit, A few note shockwave does not have tires starting at the bottom of the lift belive it or not it has a lift chain were the tires are, the 3rd turn around is more banked and closer to the station, and finally the trains are white.

and about the tires Doh!

i've been riding that thing for 5 years now i should now what its like

Thanks for Understanding

that's already a lot better!

a few tips to make it better again

- change the lifthill speed to 12 KM/H instead of the default 8 KM/H (don't know how much miles that is) this makes the train go faster trough the track, and with 8 km/h the lift hill just takes ages

- if you have NL version 1.6, then use ctrl+G (mac: control+g), that's a very handy keyboard shortcut to make the ride a lot smoother. of you don't know how it works, then try it out like this:

Select 2 pieces of track that are connected to eachother (or more pieces, but I usually take 2) and press the shortcut... now look how the section changed, and if you don't like it just press ctrl+Z

- make 180o turns with at least 3 nodes. this helps making a good turn, with 2 nodes you don't have a lot of control of the turn it self.

I think you did a good job for a second coaster, keep on trying!

How many coasters have you made on Nolimits so far?

I have been making NL coasters for about a year and a half now, but I just made my first recreation last week. I got pretty much exact stats on it too.
