rabid disney Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Hi guys and girls its your drunk aussie mate here with a update One of my works parks Wet N Wild Water World decided to put a coaster in because that would be such a cool Aussie backwards thing to do. But the coaster will have water elements when operational. Anyway here is a preview photo below plus 10 construction shots from footers to finished at the link below your local friendly aussie site enjoy . http://ozcoaster.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=65&Itemid=1 Preview photo
verticalzero Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I'm not convinced about 1/2 pipes, they don't really appeal to me. Any news about the one which is built on top of a building in Japan, it can't open cos of the locals complaining.

rabid disney Posted June 28, 2007 Author Posted June 28, 2007 I'm not convinced about 1/2 pipes, they don't really appeal to me. Personally Im going to wait till the install all the water features on this one before I make judgement. And at 1st I thought a coaster was a bad idea but now my mind set has changed after seeing it, and Wet n Wild Water World, Warner Bros. Movie World and Paradise Country are really becoming more of a resort type place with every new attraction and that has to be a good thing.
Gav Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Great shots Ian, Im looking foward to this ride, I mean frisbee type rides are pretty fun and this is essentially the same sort of idea (going back and forth in an arc while spinning), plus the addition of water effects should spice things up a bit. Anyone notice how in the last shot the colour of the track gradually changes from dark to light blue like a wave, and then has a white bit at the top that is like the crest, a nice bit of detail IMO.
rabid disney Posted June 29, 2007 Author Posted June 29, 2007 ^well you know WVTP like to add that extra detail with there stuff
thunder001 Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Cheers for the pics Rabid, with this and the moto coaster that Dreamworld is building, should be a good year for Gold Coast Theme Parks
