kraxleRIDAH Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Every Intamin drop tower (second generation and up) in America has been closed. The Drop Zone Stunt Tower rides at Kings Island, Canada's Wonderland, Carowinds, Kings Dominion, and Great America have been closed while the Kentucky Kingdom Superman incident is undergoing investigation. Six Flags America's Dungeon Drop, Six Flags Over Georgia's Acrophobia, Six Flags Great America's Giant Drop, and Six Flags St. Louis' Superman Tower of Power have been closed as well. In addition, all the Superman Tower of Power rides on the Six Flags website have had their pages removed. Story: Six Flags St. Louis closes drop ride. Rides closed after Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom accident.
FeelTheFORCE Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 The Pitt Fall at Kennywood was also closed briefly, but they inspected it, said it was ok, and it's open again.
Homer Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 What about the PARC parks, specifically Tower of Doom at SFEG. Also, what about Tower of Doom at SFA?
Wes Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 This has already been posted in the main thread. Since it's related to the accident, it should probably be kept there as well.
