Dubailand official website now up

Dubailand's official website is now up and running after a long time of being under construction. while I find it is incredibly lacking in information and photos you can find on other sites(much like any other amusement park website), and leaves out alot of what is planned for Dubailand, it is still nice to get a feel for progress around there.

 

Speaking of dubailand, I havent heard any news about it in a loooong timee. any progress?

Nice website, but I think one will have to be created for every section, because when the project is complete, there will be way too much for one site.

Phase 2 should be completed by 2009, so they better start working!

^I read that Global Village and some other smaller areas are already up. I think it was somewhere in the skyscraperpage link.

^Global village has been operating since 2005 according to some website, and the racetrack(forgot its name) has been operating for a while now as well)

The model of that indoor ski place looks crazy! Also, do you think those buildings really will be like 3,000 feet tall?

The global village is closed at the moment. Last season was the last time it would be a tempory afair. So they are re building it with permanant attractions. Not been up there for a while so not sure of the progress, but when I do go I will take my camera.
