handy-andy Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Hey guys, I live in the UK and have been to all the good Europe parks but now I want to go to America ( well me and my mum and dad). I cant go this year but do you think we should take on the stress (and high cost of doing it our selves or come on one of the TPR Trips? Also which parks should we go too, I really like intense rides!?
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 How big of a trip do you want to go on as in how long how much money ect. Then we can recommend some parks.
BarryH Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Actually, the exchange rate from UK pounds to US dollars is pretty good. You might get a pretty good deal if you decide to make the journey. WDW has a lot of UK visitors. I must hear more UK accents than any other while wandering around the resort.
larrygator Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 If your parents want a truly stress free trip you should try to do the TPR Trip. Robb and Elissa take care of practically everything and the relief of having someone else drive allows you do to a lot more at a relaxed pace in the same amount of time.
msep003 Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 if you guys flying from the UK there is a lots of Cheap Flight from the UK to the US . For about £700 you can afford a trip to Orlando for example . take a cheap flight from Manchester to Orlando Intl and then stay to a Cheap Motel on Intl Drive or on the 192 . Parks prices are £100 for the Two weeks pass for Busch Gardens and Sea World Orlando and Universal . £150 for a week at Disney World with all the four Disney Parks and there is also Cypress Gardens near Disney World . Orlando area is a must see for the Theme Parks Lovers even Coasters Enthusiast . If you don't want to go to Orlando . Take a Cheap Flight to New York and then rent a car and go to SFNE , SFGADV , and many other parks with great coasters .
TPDan Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 *O*M*G* First post! I have a question which kinda links in with this topic. I also live in the Uk, near Thorpe park, and I wanted to get some of the Theme Park Review DVD's, especially the 8th one which is also the latest. Every time I try to get it, it comes up with a price in dollars only, so im confused as to how im meant to order it if I dont have any dollars. Is it actually possible to get them with pounds or summat?
handy-andy Posted May 22, 2007 Author Posted May 22, 2007 Dont worry you can When paying with credit/debit card or paypal it will automatically convert the amount into pounds and take it off you account! ( you cant pay with other methods (at least i don't think so)) To find out what you will be paying use a currency converter. You can find one easily by searching for one on Google. Hope this helps!
