Jew Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 So after the TPR meet @ SFA weekend, I had about a 1/2 day to kill before my flight home from BWI. So I decided to take the train to Downtown. First thing I did was a tour of Camden Yards. Then went to Inner Harbor (those pics coming later). Nice Stadium...makes me less opposed to a new Dodger stadium. More random Camden pictures and Inner Harbor stuff later. One half of a luxury box. Since I'm Jewish, I'll probably be able to afford this someday Since I hate english classes, this is as close as I'll ever be to an MLB pressbox. The managers view...it's very exciting. Or something. Since Jews don't play sports, this is as close as I'll ever be to a MLB dugout. ZOMgZ...the dugout as you've never seen it before! (this is the first place they take you on the tour) The scoreboard. I would make a joke about the O's sucking ass, but saying "HAHA...the Yankees are sucking ass" is much more enjoyable This is the street between the Warehouse building and the stadium. Exciting, no? The train drops you off right outside Camden Yards. Curse you LA for not having good public transportation! It's the train. Curse you LA for not having good public transportation!
Meteornotes Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 Camden Yards rocks. It's still my favorite of all the baseball stadiums I've ever been in. And the luxury boxes/club level is really nice. We've had our seats from our ticket plan on the club level the last four years. The old warehouse on Eutaw Street contains all sorts of stuff, including the Camden Club, a restaurant/bar on the upper floor that overlooks the stadium. It's a great place to check out the game from. Looking forward to more Baltimore pics! dt
mcjaco Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 One of these days I'll get to Camden. My list of stadiums is slowly growing.
ParkTrips Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 eh I personally liked Dodger Stadium better than Camden! But anything is better than my team's stadium, which I still have never actually be to
