Vekoma Fan Boy Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I'm doing a newspaper project for my english class and since Six Flags is big around here I'm doing it on the "Improvements" made by Shapiro. I need to know two things, what are your views on the changes, and do You think Goliath, Tatsu, Kingda Ka, and El toro are the last major thrill rides for the six flags parks? Please and Thank you!
CP_RULES Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 This is in the wrong forum. We have a great place for all of your questions for the Alveys right here
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted May 4, 2007 Author Posted May 4, 2007 He He my bad... A little too quick to post.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted May 7, 2007 Author Posted May 7, 2007 Sorry to double post but, Did I mention I need this by Monday?
Gav Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 If it's an opinion piece then couldn't you just write what you think of the changes, and whether SF have stopped building huge rides? IMO its a bit lazy to just get someone else to write what they think and reword that.
robbalvey Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 I honestly am not sure how to answer this nor do I think I'll be able to in order to satisfy your deadline. Unfortunately, Elissa and I are totally swamped and we have deadlines of our own (3 major trips coming up take a lot of work!) Pressuring us for answers isn't going to get what you want any quicker. I can tell you that I think the changes will be GREAT if Shapiro and his team can pull them off. I'd like nothing more than to see a Six Flags that is more like the days of when Time Warner owned them as I think mostly everything Premiere did was completely destructive. I do not think those big rides will be the "last" big rides ever, but probably for a while until the parks get cleaned up. That's pretty much all I can offer and have time to write at this point. Hopefully that helps. --Robb
