IceDragon Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 What graphics card(s) does everyone have for games like RCT3? Mine needs an update (its about 3 years old), so whats the best card for fairly high resolution gaming?
carolinacaniac Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 I have been wondering the same thing, I seem to have issues with the video getting choppy when ever there is more than two or three rides in the park. It meets ir exceeds most minimum requirements, just curious about the video card
mcjaco Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I've got 256MB NVidia something or other. I think you'll find RCT3 will kill any card or PC it runs on. It's way too intensive for most systems, espcially when you use custom scenery, and try to make a larger park.
alanjonesbath Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I've just re-built my PC using a Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS 512Mb graphics card, and it seems to do a pretty decent job with RCT3. Haven't tried NL yet though.
jjeerr Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 It runs fine with my x1600/2 Ghz core duo. Anything better then a Nvidia 7600/ati x1300 should be ok for RCT3 But if you have the money, Nvidia 8800/8600 would be a good card to buy. (DX 10 and all that fancy stuff) If I was building a system, I'd get a 8600.
