Jeezus Juice Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 I'm finding that DVD-R+ discs seem to be hit or miss. I think I just got into a batch of cheap ones that I'm having trouble playing. They seem to work (barely) with my XBOX but not in any of the DVD players I've tried, although they'll play in my computers perfectly. Last year I used K-hypermedia DVD-R+'s and they seemed to work just fine. Which do you guys use as I've yet to have a problem with your discs in any of the players I've used. Thanks, Don "Stupid technology" Garrison
robbalvey Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 I have been sticking with RIDATA's Ritek 4x DVD+R discs and I've had VERY good luck with them. Since we've started shipping Volume 5, all of the discs have been printed on those (except for a spindle of Hyundai discs we got accidentily and had a LOAD of trouble with those) and our return rate has been VERY low. I will say that any returns we've had, I re-burn them onto Sony's DVD+R discs and those have worked flawlessly. They are, of course, a lot more expensive too! But I think the RIDATA brand has proved to be a good 'cheaper' option, while not being dirt cheap, but not being ass expensive either. --Robb
benzo41190 Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 I am on a week and a half trip and I am worried about the DVD's coming. Is it UPS or just a mall order? I am on my laptop and I am ten hours from my house. I hope they get shipped ok. Sorry about it being off topic
