Golfie Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 When I go onto the simulator, it says "WARNING: No 3d Hardware Accelerator Found!" and runs at less than 1 fps. However, before I got vista, I could run it with quality 4 anti-aliasing and get 90 frames per second. Furthermore, the editor runs very slowly unless I turn off textures. Does anyone know how I could fix this? It's really starting to bug me. Andrew
xascher Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I might be mistaken, but you need a video driver. Nvidia might have one for you
Golfie Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 I found a driver on the Dell Website - now my computer is a BEAST again!
nathanhillinbl Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 It may be a beast, but with vista, its unreigned, roaming around daydreaming. I Mandriva Linux.
Golfie Posted April 12, 2007 Author Posted April 12, 2007 Seriously, there's no further need for this topic but a "Let's Bash Vista-a-thon" Could a moderator please lock it now?
nathanhillinbl Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 lol sorry, i had to. I have a few friends that do have vista, and they all've complained to me about bugs, and unstablity.
