christianscoasters Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 I couple of days ago I got the UCES project (www.rct2uces.com) and LOVED it! Then I downloaded the park "Premier" over at RCPro. That gave me a little more scenery to work with. So as of three days ago, I am making a "sorta professional" park, called Springwood Park. I don't know if that's been mentioned before, but that's all that came to mind. PICS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.
jsahockey09 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 I don't know what you mean by temporary but it looks pretty good so far. Except for three things I noticed. 1: Those four tree things in the middle need to go. They are far to big for the game. Also the fence around it seems too large to be in the game too. 2: Try making a building for your restrooms, first-aid buildings, and cash machines. 3: You need more trees!!!
christianscoasters Posted March 11, 2007 Author Posted March 11, 2007 ^I said that it's temporary. Temporary means that it is will be replaced and is just there for a matter of time. I know that the trees are too big. That's why it's temporary.
coasterfreak101 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Looks pretty good, I'm excited to see the rest of the park and the permanent entrance! Just a question, did the scenery in that screenshot (in particular the walls and rooves for the entrance/building in top-right) come fromt the UCES download? Or did you get them from the Premier download?
christianscoasters Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 ^Honestly, I can't tell you where I got them. I didn't pay attention to what came in the package. The only thing that you could do is go to www.rct2uces.com and look at the individual objects and see if these are on there. I'M NEEDING HELP WITH THE NAMES OF RIDES!!! Do you have any ideas? I need names for the inverted coaster, spaceshot, woodie, and the ferris wheel.
christianscoasters Posted March 15, 2007 Author Posted March 15, 2007 COULD I GET THIS POST DELETED PLEASE??? I took off the pics and now it's a double post. I can't delete it either. PICS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.
RollerC Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 You really need to strain away from building station platforms on the ground. You should build them in the air from anywhere to 5ft to 30ft, depending on the coaster and it's size. Also, i'm not sure that I like the the que for the wooden coaster as there is no railings and peeps could fall and die!
Ccron10 Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Also, try to make your skyride stations more realistic. Maybe build the station about 10 ft above the ground. Another thing, almost every skyride has towers to support the cable so don't just build them at the top of hills, space the towers out every ten squares. If you want to go the extra mile, I use sky bucket cars on my skyrides, they're really cool. Good wooden coaster, just add walls inside the tunnel so you don't look at a big open space inside.
christianscoasters Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 *****MAJOR NEWS!!!***** Springwood Park has had a disaster. An F5 tornado ripped through the area and destroyed everything. The amusement park will have to be rebuilt. Instead of rebuilding what was there, the park will be completely transformed. One of the things still salvageable in the wreckage was the food court, which was cloned then put back together. "We hope that this tornado came to help the park exceed forward." The new park banner.
christianscoasters Posted March 21, 2007 Author Posted March 21, 2007 UPDATE!!! The River. Random scenery. There will be nothing here. Here is the standard food court and a mini stadium. The Zooma Express. Mechanical Bull and Boomerang. After you walk past the entrance, there is a little pond. I finally got a good entrance!
jsahockey09 Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Wow! Thats a heck of a lot better than your last park. I only have two suggestions, more trees and some more things around your entrance.
Steffen_Dk Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I like everything in the park, except of that weird random scenery.. And btw. this is one of the best flyers I've seen in RCT2
christianscoasters Posted March 21, 2007 Author Posted March 21, 2007 ^What random scenery? And the flyer was in the last park, but I could transfer it if you would like.
LOVE SFKK Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I like everything in the park, except of that weird random scenery.. And btw. this is one of the best flyers I've seen in RCT2 Im pretty sure was being sarcastic and that really its where a coaster is going to be built. I agree that the flyer was great and should definately be brought into this park
christianscoasters Posted March 21, 2007 Author Posted March 21, 2007 ^Actually I wasn't. I just wanted to do something different. BTW, I did bring the flyer back. UPDATE!!! So for yall's wanting the flyer back, good news for you. It had over 250 peeps in the quene in the first five minutes!!! Anyway, I have added several rides including a coaster that is very similar to Tony Hawk's Big Spin. I was actually trying to recreate it but decided, nah. BTW, This update isn't very organized. Nuff said! Total Progress. Campground area-type-thing. A sorta-new entrance. Vulture's quene. More of THBS. A new observation tower was constructed. Creatively named, Sky Tower. It's towards the back of the park, near Afterburner. Vulture is back!!!!!!! New slingshot ride. The quene and house which IMO looks nice. THBS!!!!
christianscoasters Posted March 22, 2007 Author Posted March 22, 2007 ^I originally had a Screamin' Squirrel construction going on there. Wierd thing was, when I used the Wild Mouse track, I would get an error trapper EVERY time. I decided to get rid of the Screamin' Squirrel and do something else. I decided that I didn't want a ride there, but scenery. That's why that's there.
thrillrideseeker Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 WOW! Great job on the compact layout of the giga coaster! And I like the log flume! There were like a million guests riding it that must mean it was good! Bravo! ~Matthew
