I'm Eric, a french coaster enthusiast and I plan a trip in Los Angeles from 21st of April to 7th of May 2007.

As I was checking parks and roller coasters to visit in Los Angeles area, one of my friend said me that Adventure City is fordidden to adults without children ! I wrote an email to Adventure City management and they confirmed this to me !

Then, I'm looking for a friendship parkfan family with children who accept to help me entering in this park ! I'm offering 2 free admissions (1 for a children and 1 for his/her dad or mum) !

I purpose you 3 dates :

- Friday 27th of April at 10 AM (park open from 10 AM to 5 PM).

- Saturday 28th of April at 11 AM (park open from 11 AM to 8 PM).

- Sunday 29th at 11 AM (park open from 11 AM to 7 PM).

If somebody's interested, please let me know here or by email at tztot@free.fr.

Thank you in advance.

Eric,

I wouldn't worry too much about this rule. I've never known anyone to be turned away. When you go buy your ticket, just explain that you are a Coaster Enthusiast and you're only there for a few minutes to get the two credits.

Here is the email I sent to the park :

Bonjour from Paris, France.

I am a french amusement park enthusiast. On spring 2007, I'm planning a trip to Los Angeles to visit few parks there. One of my american friend said me that your park doesn't accept alone adult ! Is this information correct !? Why this !? As I'll be alone for this trip, I wouldn't come to your parc for nothing and stay at the entrance for nothing ! Thank you in advance for you reply.

Best Regards.

Eric.

And here is the answer :

Eric,

Sorry, no adults can visit the park alone.

Elissa, it seems this rule is really applied !

That must be a new rule because I've never been turned away from there, and I've been a couple of times.

On another note, isn't that park closing sometime soon, or did that change?

Eric, but not the same one who started this topic

The one visit I had to that park I had no problems going in without kids.

I highly doubt they are going to refuse your money. It's a pretty crappy park, so I can't see them enforcing such a rule.

No restrictions on Canyon Blaster

Goliath Jr. you MUST be under 54'' (whether you steal a kid or not) NO ADULTS ON IT AT ALL!

Timberline Twister you have to be under about 5'6'' and get a friendly rideop early in the day or have a kid.

I had it too ! At the moment I went there to ride it, I didn't know that there was this kind of restriction, and the operator said nothing to me ! Few years later, I read on french boards that this coaster is a children-only ride !

But this restriction is rare in Europe ! I miss a credit at PKI too ! And that's sure I'll miss 1 at Knott's, and 1 at SFMM ! Hum, and few more at SFMM, actually !!!

At Cedar Point, nothing is forbidden to adults ! When I went there, the operators were so kind to help a so big man like me entering in the so little car of their kiddies ! Then, I have had the full credit !
