BeemerBoy Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Whats the point of a park building something that big if it wont have any records. Are you a former Cedar Point employee?
Menghini Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Whats the point of a park building something that big if it wont have any records. Are you a former Cedar Point employee? Well, then it also has a record, hasn't it? By the way: I always hope europe will built one of the highest and fastest coasters in the world... Maybe this is it?
AstroDan Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 My My My A Tussauds park actually showing some novelty for once in the past few years! If this is the case then Tussauds are clearly pushing Heide. Lately, we've seen token investments at Alton Towers, Chessington and Thorpe Park to some extent - with no real 'world beaters' at any of those three parks of late. Heide Park getting this new coaster would be a sensation.
Janster Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Heide Park should also do something about their marketing. My whole life I'm living within a radius of 200 miles from the park, but I know of it's existence since I checked RCDB two years ago. The general public knows nothing of Heide Park and the second tallest/fastest woody in the world and the tallest gyrodrop tower in the world. They really do something wrong with their advertising.
Leaf Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Lets just not hope it's going to get painted green and white. Joking. What is that about some investors from Dubai?
BDG Posted February 13, 2007 Author Posted February 13, 2007 What is that about some investors from Dubai? The Tussaud's Group was bought by Dubai International Capital in 2005 for 1.5 billion US dollar. DIC is an investment arm of Dubai Holding, which is owned by the Dubai Crown Prince Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. They have tons of money and usually buy 3 or 4 companies each year, or shares in those companies, for 1 billion US dollar each. "We now look forward to working closely with DIC to accelerate our growth plans, explore new opportunities and create even more exciting experiences for our 14 million guests" said the Tussauds CEO.
crazyrider06 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Sounds cool to me, cant wait to see it. So it wont beat records of being the tallest coaster who cares, at least it’s being built right?
