Black Background, Red Writing

Looking through the park Photos section over the past few years, i have noticed something, that really annoys me. It's the older gallery's that have Black Backgrounds and red writing on them. I love your photos, but i do sometimes find it a bit of a turn off sometimes when they have the black background, etc.

 

So i was wondering, are you guys (R&E) going to change all of the Backgrounds to the grey colour and yellow writing? Because that would be really cool, and much less of an eyesore!

We've been slowly going through all of the old photo pages for sometime now.

 

Eventually they will all be done and indexed like some of the newer pages.

I've always read that when it comes to web design any combination of black with red or green is really taboo.

 

Someone who is red/green colour blind can actually see those colours as black instead. So a page with red text on a black background would be seen as solid black to someone who is colour blind.

I think red and black looks better then any other color on black. Black, IMO, is the best background for photos.

 

But I do like the yellow print on your newer pages. It makes it easier to read.
