soccerbballer Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Will the park/rides be open during this extremely windy weather, because I was planning on going tomorow. If anybody can help me out, that would be great.
wrs28330 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 i dont think wind is a big concearn, except on superman maybe. All the shows will still be open though!
ebl Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 We were going to go today, but with a rainy/windy forecast, we decided to put it off. The rain was gone this morning, but the wind was blowing, so we didn't go anyway. Tomorrow we have plans, but maybe Friday will be better. Eric

GMAN962 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 It was pretty dang windy today, and all the rides were open today except X (surprised?), Flackback (OMG), Freefall, and Ninja as far as I know. But obviously Colossus and superman were only running one side. IMO, Goliath is the best ride ever if you ride it in the wind at night, and in the back seat. Expect slow operations though. Have fun! ~Mike

GMAN962 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Well, it wasn't the busiest of days, but it had some wait, mostly for scream and Riddler's, they had pretty bad operations, Tatsu's line wasn't bad at like 11 am. If it's like today, you shouldn't have many problems... ~Mike
westipher97 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 I actually went to guest relations to complain about one train operation on Viper and Revolution when they had 55 minute waits. I know they were that long because we actually waited for Viper and the lady in guest relations told me that the park doesn't decide how many trains they run on the coasters that some safety committee does. Also, high winds in the area were a reason too, along with some other stupid off the wall reasons. Every coaster with the exception of Viper, Revolution, and Gold Rusher were running multiple trains and I don't think that wind was a reason for running one train on those rides.
