Billy Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 hey peeps, im askin for RCT3 for the holidays and i wanna know what add-ons have the cool track styles, like the larger swooping turns and better 0-g roll parts. i saw RCT3 with Soaked + Wild add on (which-i may be wrong-includes the new tracks styles) on amazon. is that what i need to be good to go? any help would rock. thanks.
the sound Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Maybe you should just start on the RCT 3. Then, if that has what you want, you won't have a lot of Money wasted on Expansion Packs that you don't really want. Also, your question is a little unclear.
Billy Posted December 5, 2006 Author Posted December 5, 2006 i could be wrong but i thought in an add-on, like Wild, the offered more track styles for the game. like better turns and inversions. any idea which add on is best?
the sound Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 There are differen't types of ROllercoaster, if thats what you mean. I'm not sure about the differen't Inversions though. But i would suggest Wild as well if you want differen't types of coasters. But i would buy both anyway.
NitroRider Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Depends on you're comp to. If you want the zero g roll and things, get wild and look for the extended coaster. If you want a better rocket go for soaked and look for t he stormrunner coaster.
Billy Posted December 5, 2006 Author Posted December 5, 2006 hey thanks! looks like soaked and wild are the right ones to get! amazonhas a good deal, so ill check it out. thanks again
mcjaco Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum Edition just came out. It's the original version plus the expansions in one. Just get that.
YoshiFan Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I think Circuit City has the Platinum edition on sale for $19.99 this week. I wish I would have waited since I bought Gold for $19.99 from Best Buy a few weeks ago.
NitroRider Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 hey thanks! looks like soaked and wild are the right ones to get! amazonhas a good deal, so ill check it out. thanks again There are only those two... have fun though!
Billy Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 i figured, im a little behind on the RCT, been playin too much NL...
coasterdude5 Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Yeah, I reccomend going ahead and just getting the RCT3 Platinum edition. Some places don't even sell the expansion packs seperately any more.
Billy Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 whats the differnce between gold and platinum?
