pete4winds Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Be sure, when you talk Gangsta, to use better spelling / grammer... FO SHO! -Ryan I'm all over a spelling error in a message reminding someone to use proper spelling/grammAr! Grammar: 1a: the study of the classes of words, their inflections, and their functions and relations in the sentence. 1b: a study of what is to be preferred and what avoided in inflection and syntax. Grammer: Comic actor, first name Kelsey, most recently known for portraying Dr. Hank "Beast" McCoy in X3: The Last Stand. Most famous for his portrayal of Dr. Frasier Crane in the situation comedies "Cheers" and "Frasier." See also: Down Periscope; The Pentagon Wars; The Simpsons.
terrancew_hod Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 That was ugly . We call it "Cute getting cute" when that happens. And when you correct them it's called "getting them good and together". I usually pull out the dictionary too, but that's the first time I've seen "Kelsey" used in getting someone together. I love it! On a side note, I hate to see how some of our youth are getting so lazy in their spelling and grammar. I'm blaming it on MTV's glorification of ignorance. I mean have you seen some of those "hosts" slaughtering the English language and just being downright ghetto? Not cute. I remember (back in the day) if someone on TV would start to "slaughter", they would cut the interview short, pull the mike away from them or the comedians would have new material; now I can just imagine their English teachers just cringing... -- Terrance
