Snoopysapples Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Please can someone help with info. about Halloween Horror Nights Fl. I am going for the first time since the very first Horror Nights. I would like to know a few things. First off I bought my tickets online and going to pick them up at the gate, my question is first should I get there early before it starts to get my tickets. I don't know if there is long ticket lines or is it pretty much a steady stream in. Second I am bringing my 14yr. old son and my 13yr. old daughter who both enjoy a good scare but I have heard some people say that it is very intense even for them do you think they would be able to handle it? And Can you bring cameras and if so can you take pics with the charactors? Thanks any info would help.
SharkTums Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Hi there, Welcome to the site. If your kids are into scares I'm sure they'll have a great time. If one house does worry them, maybe on the next house try to get in a bigger group and stay in the middle, that way you'll get less scares. As for what time to get there, well, if you have time, the earlier the better! Even though technically the event starts at 7pm, we've seen them open the gates as early as 6pm and as late as 6:45pm. My advice would be to get there early, pick up your tickets, grab a snack or food in Citywalk, then get towards the turnstiles to get in right away. Also, what night are you going? If it's a Friday or Saturday, did you think about getting the Express Passes? It will be very crowded with some houses having a 2+ hour line. It will be nearly impossible to get everything in. The express passes are well worth the extra money and allow you to do the event on your own schedule as well as ride all the rides. As for cameras, you are more than welcome to bring them in, and some of the street monsters will be happy to pose for a picture, just make sure to ask before blinding them with the flash! In the houses, most of the time they will not let you take pictures. Hope this helps! You may want to check some of the other HHN Threads on the board here to learn more about this years event.
robbalvey Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Yes, I would certainly get there early if you can! If your kids like that kind of thing, I think they'll have a lot of fun. As long as they know all the monsters are really there to have as much fun as they are, they'll do fine! I've seen some of the characters interact with the kids in "scary" yet "cute" ways. Anyway have a great time! --Robb
