stricklandCC Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 i plan on visiting "The Mountain" in a few weeks, the second weekend in october, its been a long while since i've been there, and have quite a few credits to gain. I'm curious, with magic mountain's reputation of closed\serviced coasters, what can i expect to be closed. I plan on visiting the park on a saturday sunday(both have the "fright fest, holoween thing goin' on" what can i expect to be closed, and can two days at the park better my chances of getting all the credits i need?? besides flashback--what else can i expect?
kraxleRIDAH Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 This is like asking us if any of us knows if it's going to rain during your visit. WE DON'T KNOW.
TatsuXtreme Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 its sad to say this but probably at least X and Flashback. you can expect Tatsu to go down a few times during the day too. as it always does.
Mr.Six Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 You can expect Flashback, and Thrill Shot to be closed for sure. Other rides that don't open with the park often are Deja vu, Superman, Sky Tower, and Ninja. X may or may not be closed; I've heard they're aiming for the middle of October. If X is open I'd suggest running to it when the park opens, the skip Tatsu and do the back of the park. Make your way around, maybe stop and get lunch. Then pick up flashpasses for Tatsu and other rides you missed. To your question "Does having two days at the park better my chances for all credits?" I think it might, because sometimes rides that can't be staffed like Ninja, Sky Tower, Deja, and other flats might be staffed one day and not the other. But more than anythng having two days will break down the chaos of trying to get everything which is a very good thing! Hope you have a good time. _six
disneyfan1313 Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 There are *many* threads that ask this question on a regular basis. Please take the time to look through existing threads and the great SFMM Update Thread here which gives you an idea of what is currently going on there including closures. You can also check the parks website or call for information. Thread Closed.
