Justin Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Hey Rob! Have you or know anyone who has used this? It is an option for payment on Sony's website; and I was wondering what the deal with it was? I know it is credit based etc, but is it worth it? Any input? THANKS!! Justin-
SharkTums Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 It all depends on what kind of financing it is. If it's a higher percentage than what you'd pay on your credit cards it's not a good idea, if it's lower then maybe it's a better idea. The BEST idea is to save up the money on your own then pay for it all at once! Elissa "finance major" Alvey

Unless you plan on paying for EVERYTHING (and I mean everything..house, car, etc) youll need credit. Which sucks. I agree, cash is a much simpler and effective tool but credit just is too big and too required. Oh well, gotta go with the flow.
BarryH Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 I remember looking at the APR for the financing at Sony Style's web site. I don't remember the percentage, but I do recall it was higher than my credit card APR! I do recall saying "No thanks!" really quick!
Justin Posted April 23, 2005 Author Posted April 23, 2005 It's 21 somthing.. God help someone who doesn't pay a bill on time...
