Goodbye Cop Car Chase (Or Not)

I read this article on a belgian themeparksite, saying that the Cop Car Chase at Moviepark Germany is going to be closed for good. This was said on a fanday in Moviepark. The news apperantly was also posted on www.onride.de (anyone german-speaking can check this?)

Hi,

 

Cop Car Chase is NOT going to close soon.

 

At the moment they`re repairing some things at this ride because it`s in really bad condition (like the whole park).

 

So it`ll be no wonder if they are going to close it in the near future but at the moment they`re trying to reopen it as soon as possible.

^Thank god for that! CCC is really the best coaster of the park. I hope they restore it in it's full glory.

OMG i sooo hope they wont close CCC, like wrebbit said its probarly the best coaster in the park! I was planning to go to MPG next year and it would be a HUGE let down to see it closed. Can anyone confirm if it will stay open for 2007? Otherwise i will have to visit it this year instead of next.

I thought this coaster looked pretty cool, I hope this is not true... My cousins rode it when it was lethal weapon pursiot and they loved it.

I changed my plans around and am missing MPG on my trip in a few weeks. Hopefully CCC stays around for a few more seasons, as I'd really like to get on it, it looks like a pretty interesting ride (moreso when its actually running both sides). If the coaster remains closed for the remainder of the season, well then I guess I lucked out with choosing 2 days at Phantasialand instead of one day at each park!

If the park is reading this, please give this ride a better name than "Cop Car Chase". I would suggest "Run, Ronnie, Run!" or "Pursuit".
