youthink? Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Ok, what coaster do you think gives more of a thrill? Personally I say wood because they give great headchoppers and they're pretty rough
TheMan Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 i dont know, that really depends on the coaster it self. Wood scare me more because its wood and feels different and can be more thrilling. but i like steel coasters more and some are more thrilling. it just depends on the coaster
WildStangAlex Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I think Wooden Coasters are way more thrilling. On a steel coaster, you tend to get the same ride everytime, woodies have so many variables. Harnesses tend to give a feeling of overwhelming security, whereas woddies don't provide that. There is nothing like a headchopper on a woodie also!
asr Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 This is hard. Steel coasters have height, speed and inverions, Woodies have the feeling of insecurity, and unlike steel coasters, they are truly wild rides, not a smooth and controlled feeling, but rough and crazy. Plus, they give better headchoppers. Its a tie
FRD714 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Now this is a tough question. I want to say woodie becuase I have a hell of a time on woodies, but i dont know. Its a tie.
