Any Chicago fans out there?

Alright, I've been playing 25 or 6 to 4 for three years in pep band, but I had never heard the real song until this spring on the radio. And I never realized until I started getting into Chicago that they did Saturday In The Park, which is another favorite song of mine. I'm really hoping to go up to the concert in Ft. Wayne in October, but it's $46.50 for a balcony seat, but I am more than willing to shell out the money to go see my all time favorite group.

 

So is anyone else out there really into Chicago?

I am not really a Huge fan or anything, but I think I have seen them play about 13-14 times. They come to the local amplitheater every year and there is usually an abundance of free tickets floating around.

 

To date, the best show I saw was the co-bill with Earth Wind and Fire. Now those guys are SICK!

I got excited when I found out they were touring with Huey Lewis and the News this summer, cause they're pretty cool too; but alas, they ended their shows with Chicago this month, so it's just Chicago comin to Ft. Wayne.

I've been listening to Chicago since the early '70s. They're not quite the same, but I still enjoy their music. Back in '89, they did a show with the Beach Boys at the Hollywood Bowl. That was a great show.
