Billy Hill Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Does anyone have a hookup? This would be for the last week of June, '05. It can't hurt to ask, right?
robbalvey Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 ^ Even though I had to work there a couple of times in the late 80s, I don't have any connections...sorry! --Robb
Sir Clinksalot Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I know people with connections, but alas, they moved to FL. Gregg "I never even got to go with them to Club 33" C.
Billy Hill Posted April 16, 2005 Author Posted April 16, 2005 Thanks for the replies anyway. I've still got a few irons in the fire, so hopefully something may pan out. I've something of a minor "life goal" to someday dine in the coveted Club 33. It's not likely that I'll ever be able to afford membership, or survive the waiting list if I could afford it, so I'll keep my ear to the ground in the meantime, hoping that I may someday meet someone that could make reservations for me. Again, thanks for at least replying. Billy "It'll happen someday" Hill P.S. I've made a few semi-silly little goals like this throughout my life. Over time, I've managed to make most of them happen. Never give up on something you really want to do and you can make it happen.
SharkTums Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 I did some more research on this, and there are a few people that will sell reservations to Club 33 on ebay from time to time. They are legit, but usually go for between $400-$500 so deem how worth it it truly is! Elissa "there's probably nothing I eat up there anyways!" Alvey
Jose Eber Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 That's pretty smart to ask on a board like this. I've had dinner there once, my wife's firm's Christmas party. Its not bad food. I mean -- the 'paperbook' is a neat momento. That's cool that you set little goals for yourself -- I'm starting to bear some fruit for a few of my first goals (living in Celebration, a specific area, specific car, job, financial cushion etc.). Jose 'your goals might be silly to others, but screw them' Eber
