thomas2 Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Ok so hello I've got a question about the chatroom: when I close the window of the chat, my name still stands in the list because I've got people talking to me when I closed the window. How could this be and what can I do to prevent this? Also the chatroom doesn't always refresh automatically, sometimes even not when I've pressed the refresh button. Is this normal? thanks and keep up the great job!
SharkTums Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Anyone else having this problem? I've been in chat a lot lately and it seems to be working fine for me. As for your name staying on the list, it might be staying on the 'index' page list for an extra few minutes but you are not in chat.
CoasterCrazy Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 You have to click the close button in the chat room window to completely log out. If you just close the chat window your name will stay log in for awhile even if you aren't in the chat room. I have the same problem with refresh. I have to refresh the chat every couple of minutes.
Carnage Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 I've gotten the problem of the chat locking up before. Basically it stops refreshing and you have to close and re-enter chat. Haven't seen it the last few times I've been in chat however. (And I haven't been in much lately)
coasterdude5 Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Yeah, that's happened a couple times, it's funny because you'll be talking to someone, and then they stop talking. It took me a couple of times to find out what was going on. And about the list: I think I know what's wrong. For you to be successfully logged out, you have to hit the "CLOSE" button. Seems to work for me. Hope that helped.
Satoshi Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 you mean when i close the window my name's still staying for a couple of mins? wow! just showing them for an extra few mins? thanks.
