thrillrideseeker Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Hey Robb and Elissa do you remember me? We met on Thunderation at Silver Dollar City on April 29th 2005! Just wondering.
robbalvey Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Hey yeah! You were there with your sister or brother or something? Glad to see you on the site! --Robb
Carnage Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 How do you actually remember things like that Robb? I'd imagine you meet so many people that it must just all be a blur?
robbalvey Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 I'm really good with remembering people, but honestly really bad at names. Especially in this age when it seems like I have to remember faces, names, forum names, IM names, email addresses, etc!!!! It's too much!!!! But if someone says something like "Hey do you remember when we met at such and such park on such and such ride when you guys did this trip" and gives me a couple details I'll totally remeber. But like if someone was all "Hi, I'm Mark, we met at SFMM once" I'd have NO FREAKING CLUE! Then once I get to know people more I'll remember everything! Actually, you're a great example! For like the past year and a half I just knew you as "the guy I met with Chris & Natalie at McDonalds" and now I know your name, screen name, IM name, a bit about you, etc..... It just takes me time....I'm old! (although not as old as Jeff!) --Robb
Chris Benvenuto Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 well, Robb you still have some memory ahead of you....it's the mid 40's were you start losing it, at least that's what's showing with my folks right now, sorry to say. so....robb...you have a decent 9-10 years ahead of you, before you really start having short term memory loss, but not from birth, but FROM AGE!! GRR I'M ANGRY SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS!!! GIMME SOME AGED CANDY!!
niiicolaaah Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Hey Robb... do you remember who I am? We met in England once
