I'd like to see the Yanks top our ads nowadays. Seriously, if there's one thing Aussies do right that'd be beer... And chicks.

WHAT!?

I haven't heard of any decent craft brews come out of Australia. Or are you just talking about yellow fizzy beer?

Well, they're known for being alcoholics.... So I guess they're indirectly known for their beer...

After trying quite a few American beers, the only way I can describe them is, as Monty Pythons said "It is like making love in a canoe". Figure out the rest of the saying and you will get my point.

I love when folks from other countries try an American beer like Bud, Miller or Coors and say that American beer sucks. If you look at the history of American lagers you can see why they taste the way it do. Especially if you happen to research what has happen to beer during the World Wars.

Beer is changing in America though. People that thought all beer is beer, are discovering that it's not just beer. The Craft Beer market is growing larger and larger every year. People are finding out that beer doesn't always have to taste the same.

When you say American beer sucks, what are you comparing to? What style? A lager or an ale? A Pilsner, a Helles, a Porter, a Steam beer... what?

You can go ahead and say American beer sucks. But it doesn't bother me because your the ignorant one.

By the way... Australian wine sucks

Good beer can be found here http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18179

Sorry Wally, never drink wine...must be cause I am the ignorant one!

Could get into a great long chat about beer, but let me just say that I was comparing to the commercial beers, like Budweiser and Coors etc that you would buy in your normal bottle shop here in Australia...

Now if we want to talk home made and the special stuff, would be happy to do so and try quite a lot of them when I get to the states next year....as long as you buy the first round.
