Calaway Park Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Ok, this is my second NoLimits coaster. I do have the AHG, But I am having major problems with it. If someone could heartline it with AHG that would be a big help. Thats all I ask. It still isnt that good, but it is better than the first. Venamous.nltrack Updated version.. I tried to heartline it without AHG
coasterbuzz36763 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 even without the AHG you could make decent tracks.
Calaway Park Posted July 7, 2006 Author Posted July 7, 2006 even without the AHG you could make decent tracks. Ouch... I thought it was O.K for a beginner.. I didn't realize it was that bad...
Rollerholden Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 You'll get better with time, practice, and patience. That last hill was too slow, I thought it was going to rollback.
BiCoastal Kid Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 even without the AHG you could make decent tracks. And you could give him some pointers if his track is so bad. At least he tried to make his own track. ANYWAY, Calaway, for your second coaster it really isn't bad as others owuld lead you belive. It's bad, we'll be realistic on that, but it can be improved a lot. Just for some pointers for reference. -Your lfit should be atleast three segment. The entrance that tilts up to the lift angle, the long straight section, and then the top. -The tops of your drops should usually be tigher than the bottoms. Also, try to use more than one segment. Just for starters, you can try making your hills like your lfits, to where there is a straight section for the up and down portions, then after you can get better at the basics from that you can try turning that straight section into a smooth transition. -As a usual rule of thumb lifts, stations, and brakes should usually be straight. -After your lift there was a section that overlapped back onto itself, you should avoid that. -Try selecting your banking/banked vertex points and selecting the "con-roll" option. This don't necessarily smooth your track, but makes the roll of the banking smoother. Anyway, those are some basica pointers I have to give. As you get better at those and past you'll pick up more pointers and techniques dfrom ehre and there and possibly wind up talking about leadins and radii like us nerds.
coasterlover420 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Nerds!!! Enough about myself...Anyway, I AHG'd your track EXACTLY as it was and it came up with this result. I didn't bother readding supports, so... you know... Venamous.nltrack
