thefitness
A new concept for a coaster? my first reaction was "whats the point" maybe im not seeing it here. Here is the link but below is also part of the article because i dont know what is considered "spamming" http://www.cantileveredcoaster.com/ You have arrived at the home of a new roller coaster / dark ride system concept called the Cantilevered Roller Coaster System, or "CRC". The CRC is the first roller coaster ride system ever conceived that truly places the ride vehicle and its passengers away from the track system, and at varying distances and angles. We are sure that as you read more about the CRC you will agree that it is one of the most radical ride systems ever conceived, even though it makes use of simple and economic mechanical principles to get there. Red
That's the worst and most pointless ride concept I've seen.
IwantRevenge
Just one question. WHY? what will this do for the coaster world, It will be expensive for one thing, and it's so pointless. Does it do anything special. NO! just scrap this idea now.
BeemerBoy
I think this has been around awhile now. Amazing it hasn't been built yet, huh? EDIT: Although I'm sure Cedar Point's got their number on speed dial anyway.
sixflagsmagicmountain
This is a dumb idea, what's the point, really? It's obviously a waste of money. It really seems like more of a novelty than anything else, I don't see them building more than a couple of these in the future, but who knows, maybe they'll find some cool use for it. I think it would take too much effort to make it work seamlessly.
Jumboshrmp
It doesnt look practical, but it does look awesome. I hope I see this used some day.
