I really think were going to see old worn out rides goto the Steel mill or Lumberyard with what they are doing with Flashback at sfmm it seems a good idea open up more room in a otherwise dead part of the park and put somthing in to draw guests back into that area.

Oh god i do miss the gondolas that went thru the matterhorn i went on them on my first trip to disneyland at age 5. Im sad my neice wont be able to ride them this coming monday we are taking her as a early 6th bday present.

Glad you guys got the photos up I did take a walk back there during my lunch and saw the cut pieces in a big pile over by the gate that goes into the HH picnic area so its so awsome up close.alot of kids got scared of the noise in bbw

Hopefully This means they are finally going to fix the roughness on the ride you know smooth out the rough spots and maybe de trim it i think with all the trims on that ride the top speed is in the low 60s .

Well i thought i put this out there i heard from a friend cindy who works for photos at the park saying they are repainting Viper . Im thinking with x down the sfmm management said "Hey lets give viper a facelift while we are at it!". Maybe with them refurbing x they think hey look at viper it will look like a eyesore when x2 is finished lets repaint it too.

Well its what id do if i wanted a bang for the buck ride upgrade and get the park audio system up to par again face it that system is really outdated.

I was just thinking about the a/v upgrades and had a good idea if sf is seeking partnerships ''Why not give george lucas a call and have his THX company rig the audio and video for not just X2 itself but the whole park'' Its just a thought its not likely to happen

I had one question that was not in the press release are they going to had a drop floor to the loading platform like its sister ride E in japan?
