Haunt has really been improved over the last 3 years, IMO. I always think of Haunt as more fun, and USH as more fright.

Hopefully that won't be the norm. It was the first time both venues were open at once so they'll probably get better operations (and remember CGA won't be open during Niners games). Additionally the reason CGA was so busy yesterday is that it was bring up to 4 friends for $15.99 day, and apparently just about every season pass holder obliged. This. I didn't even dare offer to bring some friends even though the price point was nice. With the closure of the park during the football games there should be a smoother parking process. It will take some time for stadium goers to take advantage/familiarize themselves with the various routes that are available, but I didnt think about the other events the stadium could have on the books (concerts, other sports, etc).

I love my home parks!

Taking consideration: parking, waiting for rides, bathroom breaks, eating, beers, crowds, watching bums corn-hole each other under the boardwalk, etc. It can be done, just really rushed.

This is how its been Thurs-Sat. Switchbacks for Dipper are all the way full and spilling out a little bit. If he is showing up and riding 7pm-11pm, waiting in line for both Undertow and Dipper will eat up some time. Especially with a crowded Boardwalk.

Expect it to be BUSY. Switchbacks will be full, but weather will play a big part in it all. With the way its been, the weather is unpredictable. Its Winter when it should be Summer, and vice-versa. So as long as you keep up on checking that, you should have your expectations set. Operations at the Boardwalk rule, so you should be able to to a majority but I wouldn't go as far as saying you could do everything there. If you get there at 6, you stand a good chance to ride a lot. There are some great price breaks to take advantage of, but none that I know of on a Saturday. Get a wristband, and buy online. It will save you a couple bucks. Here is a list of things I would suggest to anyone as 'must rides'. If you have been on similar rides before its worth it to ride just for the unique views it may offer, or for the different program they may run vs. the one you've been on before. You've got a pretty solid plan. I would definitely try to get some night rides in on your favorites of the day. You'll notice a little more UMF in them as the evening comes on.

Exactly why I'd like to hit up the special ERT sessions for GoldPass holders, as well as cover the special perk. One of the teens at my martial arts gym works at the park and says that its pretty empty; not a lot of people know about the free ERT sessions on Saturday mornings.

Are there any GoldPass holders who would like to meet up at the park this Saturday for the 9am ERT? I'd like to do a trip report on this cool GoldPass feature.

There was a photo posted of the tree a few pages back, it didn't look rotten at all. Someone mentioned that there was an Earthquake earlier. That could have caused damage to the tree's branch.. Who knows for sure.

I certainly hope its not the end for this ride. I love Ninja and the layout as it swings me throughout the tree line. I can only imagine the line of ambulance chasing lawyers who want a piece of whatever suit is coming down the pipeline.

Im going to have to disagree with this. During my college years a friend of mine managed a JR and would always warn us about eating at any JR restaurants with emphasis on avoiding ordering the chili! Red Robin has bottomless seasoned fries! There's nothing more American than endless carbs!

For anyone headed to the park for the rest of the day, I've heard that Disneyland has hit capacity.

I just found this on YouTube after a night out at the bars. I'm not sure if its the numerous Jameson shots w/ pickle juice backs, but this ride is seriously giving me flash backs. If WDW's new Snow White revamp didn't get you excited for the future of dark rides at the Disney parks, then this should turn your nipples into glass cutting diamonds. Okay, maybe its the booze, BUT STILL. Cant wait for TPR to get a nice high def POV vid!
