  1. This park is close to perfection! No doubt about that. When I read that Old Faithful was going I almost started crying - I just loved that coaster, especially the colours where great.. But I also have to admit that Diablo is a fantastic deputy to Old Faithful. Wonderful layout and the colours on both Diablo and the restaurant are very "Mexicanish"
  2. I'm back with a new park and back in the Vivaldi Park track after a pretty long brake it (most of you may not even know what I'm talking about). Vivaldi Park Pacific Paradise is situated on 3 small sized atoll islands placed in the Pacific as the name refers to. The theming will be..... TROPICAL - shock! - and I'll try to master building a park with intense rides, but at the same time have a park with a relatively calm atmosphere.. Hmmm... that really makes no sense, but I hope that you have understood some of it Update 1 At the moment the park is still under construction, though the entrance area and 2 of the main attractions already have been finished. Super signature shot of the entrance with the impulse coaster Red Diamond in the background. Red Diamond's station building I just hate when the windows disappear Back to the entrance again and this small welcoming building As I said in the introduction of this update, 2 of the main attraction were build, so in update to, expect to see more to:
  3. It's looking so much better with the re-colouring of the track, and I'm just in love with the grey scale building
  4. ^Me too, and the layout seems to fit the landscape very well. The only thing I dislike is the length of the trains. If I was you, I would only use 4-5 cars pr. train and not the 11 which you have in use. The train is, as you can see in the last pic, by far filled up with riders - it's only the 5 cars in front which are in use.
  5. Nice start, for a no cs park, it's really good. The X-car coaster is quite well made, but I'm not the biggest fan of the colours. Not that they are bad looking, but I just don't think that these kind of colours fit the park that great. And to be honest; I like you cs parks better.
  6. For once someone is building a simple and short dive machine. I really like seeing the old classic layout being brought back.
  7. And it is still looking good. This is actually one of the few no-cs-RCT3 park that I like, so thumbs up to you. But what's with the smoke in the last pic?
  8. AlmereStars: I will, but the mines aren't finished yet... cinciDAWGS12: Thanks angryemobeaver: Of course the will be a POV DBru: I have tried making cs, but I just don't get either Blender or Google SketchUp, and I already have asked over at Atari's, which has helped a bit. The beginning of the ride is on the right side. Hello again. Much has happened since yesterday.I've not been to work due an annoying cold I have, but on the other hand I have had quite much time to do some theming on the ride. Swoosh! It might not be the smartest idea entering here.. The old gold mines. Hmmm you can actually enter here...
  9. Thanks for the comments I've finished the first "mine"; I still think that something is missing here, but I don't have enough mine/creepy/haunted cs to get what I want, so if you have some cs-tips, it'll be very much appreciated. From within the mine. Tadaaa! A water pumping tower.
  10. Guitar? Some kind of Rock'n'roll coaster?
  11. Supports are all done, and I've started on a little theming. It's my first real try with these kind of rocks, so please be patient if you don't see a new update in like 3 hours. It takes some time It's actually looking much bigger from this angle. The rocks which I'm trying out. And some flying track.. Thank you.. Thanks to you too. And I haven't even started on the theming yet... No TUTs are as good as your own experience. I've had RCT3 for quite some time now, and I'm still learning.. A tip though is to look at some landscape pictures from google and then get some ideas from that (if you are trying to create a landscape) I'll see what I can do; a building is always a nice thing to cover some blockyness you can't get rid of
  12. ^^ Thanks.. ^ Patience my friend.. I always first show the landscape.. But here are some pics of the coaster. So I decided to do a whole re-tracking seance Right now, it's rather ugly and pretty much the barest you can get, but that'll soon change. Supports are finished on the first of the 3 launches. I never thought I should show something so ugly. Layout
  13. I see that you were listening to my tip about making a banked drop into a big loop Seriously, when this is finished, it could easily be one of the best RCT2 parks in the forum..
  14. And I've started a new small project the day after Flussgärten Familienpark stopped working Right now, the only thing partly done is the landscape; it still misses some stuff here and there, but some areas are complete - they may be filled with some extra stuff as time goes by, who knows? The layout is also finished, but I don't have that yes, this is the right layout feeling yet; therefore I might change it a bit, or perhaps do a whole re-tracking. But you don't have to concern about that, since I'm only going to display some welcoming pictures in this first update. You might think which theme this ride will have - and yes - I have thought about it (the temporary name also reveals a bit of it). It'll be a motorbike coaster situated in an abandoned mining/olie town, which years back was a busy trading centre, but suddenly the oil resources ran out and the mine got empty. Now the only inhabitants of the area are a little Indian tribe and some angry Mexicans with guns. Well, enough talking, I think it's time for some pictures. The Indian tribe is hiding on the edge of a dried-up river bed
  15. Ups, I forgot EDIT: Can't you just name a guest M Brookes and then place the mist thing right next to the path?
  16. ^ Yes you can, if you use instant wood.
  17. Agree with DBru about the dead trees. In any case something is missing. But I also have to say that I'm quite surprised over your non-cs-skills; this new area is actually looking rather scary
  18. ^And now it has become too big And then I have the most terrible news ever. I have never ever heard of this problem before, but here it goes: The park is now do themed and detailed that the picture and night function aren't working either. That means that I will STOP building on this park, since it makes no sense to me that I build something without having the opportunity to show it to you. I'm really sad about this, however, life goes on, and new projects will come in the near future. This also means that I can start building on Zoo & Park Scandinavia again, if I don't dump the file in the "scrap-yard" (at atari). Though I can't take pictures any more, I still have 1½ update finished, so you all have the chance to say goodbye to my beloved park ~ Steffen Kristiansen ~
  19. Update 49.6 Just a random trip through the park Looks like the re-location of Die Altmodische has attracted more people to it. Nice view from Die Altmodische I always forget about this part of the park. Maybe it's because it's mainly filled up with middle intense rides. Das Biest is beginning to show signs of ageing. In this season it has had rather big amount of downtime moments. Up, up, up! Teufel is still one of the most popular rides. Take a look on this and then the pic beneath - notice a difference? Popular entertainer I really like this garden feeling around Struhdel A never before taken pic Thank you very much. And I might change the track colour somewhere in the future. Thanks Thanks I was a little concerned about the fencing, so I'm glad that you like it
  20. I have nothing against the track/layout. I think it looks awesome; every coaster don't have to be long and special.
  21. A new big ride is coming to Flussgärten Familienpark in the 47th season - what could it be?
  22. Really really nice theming, but I don't think that the track colour fits the abandoned mine style. In my mind it should be more brown-ish coloured. And BelgianGuy - as I see it, he's just using Steeljungle. It's rather hard to handle the first times you use it, but suddenly you realize how to use it correctly. That was what happened to me. EDIT: I now I read that you have had the same thought as me concerning the track colour
  23. No dark ride Update 49.5 Die Oldtimers will be the new ride for season 46. Die Oldtimers is a gentle ride which mostly has families with small children as the main target group. Two and two you'll, in small vintage cars, be send out on a cosy garden trip in the park of Hafen der Flussgärten. The logo Look a new path leading up to the new ride. That building is almost visible from any kind of angle Testing When I took this pic, I hadn't made the logo yet, so please ignore that. Right next to the queue line, you can, as the only place in the park, buy your own Flussgärten T-shits and souveniers. Souvenier shops will be added to the rest of the park soon. Just to give an overall impression of the new ride The layout The frogs are saying Aufwiedersehen!
  24. I really like that Tornado Run logo, and the teasers seem quite interesting too
