I feel really mixed on all of this. Sure he was a TERRIBLE person who did AWFUL things. I just can't seem to find any joy in his death. I only feel sad for him. I'm glad he can't spew his poison anymore but I hope that whatever God there might be will have mercy on him. I guess in my mind he's just another messed up human like the rest of us.

RCDB list them as building a new roller coaster for 2015. (there is no info for the ride. It's just listed on the page.) is this the same project just pushed back or something completely separate? (update) considering it translates to Candy Train I doubt it! LoL

I will mention Silver Dollar City has begun to retrofitted select seats (at least on Wildfire) so that veterans and other disabled individuals with prosthetic limbs may still ride. It allows them to attach a six point harness while still using the OTSR. It's very cool and was added last year. As far as I know they are the first and only park to do this! (I hope more do!) That said I think Six Flags did exactly what they should have!

Hmmm most depressing thread ever!

I came out at 14! My dad is a pastor so you can imagine how that went! So I've been out for 14 years! Wow time passes fast! But it is amazing how much just a little support can make all the difference! I know for me there was a small group for GLBTQ teens (Prism) that I had to secretly go to! That group basically helped me survive!

I'm actually happy they added the seat belts. SDC is my home park and I would rather them be safe than sorry. Also it wont hurt the ride. But honestly with these more intense rides it's better to avoid catastrophe by all means possible! SUPER Happy about the new shin guards! I'm sure they are a ton more comfortable!
