Just sounds like a normal day at a Six Flags park to me. Three rides down at Six Flags St. Louis or Six Flags Discovery Kingdom would be a record low for them!

It is better than having two frisbees, two Boomerangs, and two trabant style rides in the same park.

Firebird did open up later in the day on Saturday.

While that is true, I honestly don’t think it matters that much since the park has a lot of coasters for the size of the park. Plus, they added Superman, Joker’s Jinx, Batwing, and Roar all within a short period of time. What they have been doing lately is very smart since they are going around the park and trying to fix some of the worst parts of the park. First with Southwest Territory then with the waterpark. While most of the people here complained about the Wahoo River addition, it was such a great idea since it was one of the worst if not THE worst lazy river. The next focus for them I think is going to be a Gotham CIty makeover starting off with the addition of a Zamperla Frisbee.

I doubt Batwing will be removed after this season. It has a few more years left in it especially with the closing of Firehawk. Next year’s addition is most likely going where Dare Devil Dive used to be.

Not sure if you are aware of this, but Batwing is closed until further notice. Everything else should be up and running for you tomorrow. Have a great time and make sure to get lots of rides on Superman and Wild One!

They have planted some tropical trees near Wahoo River’s entrance and a line of trees in between Firebird and Wild One. They are young though so they are very small. Sure, that’s not a lot, but at least it is a start!

Well, that did not take long! Several markings have already been found in the Dare Devil Dive plot of land.

Looks like some work is going to start where Dare Devil Dive used to be. Soil Borings is one of the most important steps for putting down a foundation for an attraction. I think with how popular the Zamperla Frisbees are, we might be seeing one of them come to Six Flags America in 2020.

There is also a new R&B show that they just added to the show lineup. It is located in the Grande Theatre!

Wahoo River has gotten some tropical trees added as well as another bridge to get over to the pool.

Just watched the POV of Reese’s Cupfusion! Only real complaint is that I did not see any animatronics, but instead just cutouts of the different characters. The two big positives are that the screens seem very clear, and it is a very long ride.

My thoughts exactly. Skyrush has been closed since April 20th I blelieve!

Ragin Cajun is a very enjoyable ride if you are okay with spinning.

Great trip report! I would recommend visiting on summer weekdays because the park does not usually get crowded during those days. Especially since most people tend to go to the waterpark! I went last year at the end of July on a Tuesday and Wednesday and did almost all of the rides and slides I wanted to with many rerides. Anyways, glad you enjoyed the park and hope Batwing is open on your next visit.

So much media day footage has come out today showing off the new experience! You can tell from the rider cams that the only spot where there is headbanging is that corkscrew. Everywhere else just looks like some minor ratting.

I am just shocked they actually opened up their new attraction before June this year. Maybe next year Six Flags Magic Mountain will try to do that...nah, what am I kidding.

Firebird opens this Friday, May 17th. Members and PASSHOLDERS get exclusive ride time in the morning for all three days. Is anyone heading out to the park to try it out this weekend?

Mako is the exact opposite of "meh", and I've ridden it probably ten or fifteen times in the past year alone. I have a big smile on my face every time I get off. There's something to be said about a coaster as a visual magnet, and a big photogenic B&M certainly fits the bill for Hersheypark's new grand entrance area. What would you rather have had Hersheypark build? i much preferred manta, and montu at bgt. like i said many times now, i understand why hershey is building this coaster, it makes perfect sense for a family park, it will look good, it's not too intense for anyone, and has huge capacity.. i'm just surprised you guys are excited about this thing. to each his own Hersheypark already has a B&M invert. A flyer would have been probably the best option, but I think a B&M hyper is something to really look forward to.

I expect this to be at least a middle tier B&M hyper. While it is on the shorter side, it has some great elements like the speed hill, the wacky element after the speed hill, and the helix around the Kisses fountain. I would be shocked if this is not the second best ride in the park, and it should be a guest favorite.

I could care less about the name. As long as that weird element in the middle of the ride comes to fruition, I will be happy!

The only other major Christmas event I can think of in the area is Winter Light Spectacular at the Lehigh Valley Zoo. That place gets slammed for that event with long waits to just get into the parking lot. I have no doubt that Winterfest would be a success at Dorney Park!

If they do that to Mind Eraser, I would be so happy since the color scheme is ugly, and the name doesn’t match with the western theme at all. Also, Riddler with its new trains runs great so it would be a big improvement.
