  1. Saw someone posted some survey markers around cyclone ........I mean, adrenaline alley
  2. Also the construction crew. My brother is on this project and like is said before. He is keeping a tight lip about it! The last time he was this secretive was when X was in production. Does Six Flags normally do big announcement around Labor Day? Hunh...I'm half surprised the construction crew knows already...I mean at this point they could be looking at the demo page of the drawings...."we need this space cleared", dont see much reason for them to know the vertical plans....yet . All it takes is one annonomus post anywhere on the internet for a major leak....seems like the less people that know before Sept. 30th the safer their secret is...Maybe your brother doesnt know and is blowing smoke up there, but maybe he does...guess well never know Bids are shopped around well in advance. Contractors need plenty of time to secure the necessary equipment, building materials, subcontractors, permits.... And again, I'll say that people who know their livelihood depends on the confidentiality of a project will not say anything. There are only so many construction companies that work in the theme park business, and chances are they will never work in the business again if they were to leak something... Oh yes, for sure, contractors need to know in advance. When he said construction crew I assumed he meant "in house" six flags employees...
  3. If it's a spinner, I think I really hope notit's not, can it be an airtime spinner instead of a bunch of inversions? Upside is cool but there must be 50+ inversions at the Mountain and one real airtime ride (with inversions)

  5. How far in advance does Magic mountain, or any theme park plan for new major attractions. Think they do this year by year or do they know exactly what's planned for the next, say 5 years? I would think even the manufacturers need at least 2 years notice for a coaster at least. That's alot of surveying, planning and fabrication for 1 year
  6. Why would Magic Mountain build another racer ....plus that's basically two coasters and people are already saying they wont fork up the cash for one Mack coaster. I think Screamscape was pointing to a racing t themed coaster.. I just hope if it is a coaster, which it's looking like it.might be, it's not another Yolo. I mean full circuit, decent length, no gimmick, could do without more inversion, airtime beast with no breaks on the biggest drop or a pace killing full stop MCBR, or second lift, get off like "that was perfect" kind of ride..not "good ride but should've (add elements here)" disappointment. Probably be the giga Larson loop tho, LOL..."you guys want a Giga so bad, here's your flippin' Giga"
  7. Feel like Knott's has spinner covered....as well as dive. Probably a Mack tho....its going to be commercial that will basically share the fence, if there's a contract I feel it goes the other way....you are building/moving/living next to a major theme park that's been here long before you. There are large rides, noises, fireworks, lights, etc. Deal with it or find somewhere else
  8. Believe TC is included with flash pass tho not really necessary, even if the queue building is totally full its typically only a half hour wait...saw a few people re-ride yesterday.
  9. Believe TC is included with flash pass this not really necessary, even if the queue building is totally full its typically only a half hour wait...saw a few people re-ride yesyerday.
  10. Hmmmm, worth a shot...seems like a wait for dark kind of ride, especially with that light package
  11. Oops, well guess I'll go an hour and a half before closing on Friday and jump in line, always seems to work out
  12. One train wait on TC 2nd row, walk on front row Crotch Rider and 10 minute wait on Yolo front row
  13. Came out to try Crazanity,...its closed. Wasn't today supposed to be a pass preview?
