I think wildebeast got some refurbushing over the winter. I rode it on passholder preview day and it was almost rideable. minebuster was not open that day but has supposedly had some new work on the out and back section. I hope they are making efforts to improve them both but we are not in the same universe as kings island. They made time warp, the old tomb raider coaster much smoother to the point it is completely flat with no track whatsoever. (Ie completely removed it). It looked strange to see the station building as all that remains with nothing in front. the track for alpenfury looked really good in person compared to the artists renditions on the internet. It looks like it will be a lot of fun. I did not see anywhere for transfer tracks but maybe they are hidden inside the mountain.

Do we need a new record for the park with the most record breaking coasters that it has retired?

Spring is probably the best time. The park gets really stupidly busy in the summer. Toronto weather is usually nice then. Summer can get hot and humid. Check the schedule for splashworks waterpark. It may be open weekends from the may 24 long weekend. They have a fish and chips place in the waterpark area that is pretty decent. You may be able to get a hotel deal in the shoulder season. Check out the harbourfront area. There is lots to do in toronto. Take the ferryboat to the island if you get the chance. You can rent a bike or rollerblades there. It also has a frisbee golf course. There are also walking and bike paths along the waterfront that are really nice. if you want a tour of the city get on a streetcar on either king or queen streets.you can see a lot and it is a nice way of getting around. Toronto is a city of many neighbourhoods and each has their own unique feel. you could do the while trip without a car if you wanted to. You can take a train downtown from the airport and take the subway to wonderland. There is a short bus ride from the last station. Feel free to reach out directly if you want more suggestions.

For what it is worth, I am planning a trip to cedar point a few weeks from now. I am planning to stop by waldameer on my way over and get to CP sunday afternoon/ evening, spending all day monday there before heading to KI. I am hoping it won't be too busy, though may get a flash pass if i need to and almost hoping dragster doesn't reopen and draw crowds of people. There are so many coasters i love that it is worth it even if the big one trick pony (is it 2 or 3 tricks now) isn't up and running. The late summer breeze off the lake should be nice this time of year.

Also, florida in august = too hot and a lot of weird things going on there these days.

So... I'm no fan of paying more for things than I have to, Or big monopolistic companies that can throw their weight around, often resulting in the higher prices. But considering both companies came out of some pandemic years with lots of debt only to be hit with rising interest rates and borrowing costs through the roof and staffing shortages.... I would like them to stay healthy and open for business. I would like for them to be able to invest in new rides and properly look after the ones they have. I am grateful to live within an easy drive of Behemoth and Leviathan. Not sure if season pass holders will be able to go to all parks on the same pass now but that would be a nice bonus on top of just having them continue to operate.

Does anyone know if you can get discounted tickets at local grocery stores or other locations? i am going to go with my wife a week monday june 3 on the way home from hershey. not sure if unlimited ride passes are worth it.

Glad to see this coaster running again. the colors are a bit garish but nice to see a fresh coat of paint on it.

That will be something nice to think about as you swing launch over a 400’ top hat and down the other side… Glad they saved some money on this thing. Hope they had the good sense at least to hire Stengel to do the engineering.
