I want to see how they will fix the part where the fire was. I wonder if they could have made it higher with a steeper drop?

I like still seeing the original track on there like its still the same. hehe yet the new one is coming out nice..

So let me get this right, it will use most of the original structure and modified or will it be demoed and rebuilt?

As a child I loved magic mountain . I remember the magic Pagoda and would just go in it over and over. I have found it hard to find video or pictures from its hey day. I do remember the water falls you would walk under, the talking budda with the projection, black light room with the flying dragon, and they added these rooms with a clear wall. It would give you the illusion you vanished in to this air like Star Trek. Does any one have video or good pictures? I think they even had a mirror maze.

I'm just sad i never got to ride log jammer again. Heck i have not been to MM since 98 and I love only 20min. its just the $$ and not working. blah

The top of the Sky Tower is now a museum with old memorabilia and pictures throughout the history of Magic Mountain, including pictures of the Magic Pagoda. For those of us who recall Magic Mountain during the early 70s, it is definitely nostalgic and worth checking out.=== Cool but nothing online?

Before elecTRONica they had this disaster called GLOW FEST and it was the worst. I wanted to leave. It was like a RAVE that you could not escape. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh they should keep elecTRONica because its a great show and you can never get enough tron.

I'm sure this has been discussed many times but its hard to find something online about the Magic Pagoda from long time ago. I remember walking under a waterfall, the projection no the buda, the booths where they made you disappear like star trek. Any one know where to find old pictures, video of it then and now?

not to change the subject but is there anything on the magic pagoda like a web site or video? i loved going in there and to be able to stay in for as long as i wanted to. plus i used to jump on the jet streamer if i saw an empty boat. not that i condone this now but i was in my early 12's

it's scary what can be made now. heck i still play Roller coaster tycoon 1 and 2 and love that. i still have not takken the plunge and get RCT3. one day. hehe
