  1. I went to Cedar Point last week for three days and the place was pretty busy. Millennium Force, Top Thrill, and Maverick were all about an hour long the whole trip. Mantis and Raptor were about 45 minutes and the rest were usually less than half an hour. Just plan your use of time properly and you'll be able to do everything you want. But don't feel like you need to rush and pack everything in because then it takes away from the experience.
  2. ^ As a whole New England is a decently sized area, so I don't think eleven waterparks is necessarily a large number considering the number of people that live in New England and its size. I also find it rather difficult to catagorize Castaway Island as a waterpark. It has maybe a couple small slides...hardly what I would consider an actual waterpark. Also, just because Story Land is in the White Mountains doesn't mean it can't have its own waterpark. Whales Tale is also in the White Mountains and seems to be doing pretty well for itself. A small waterpark would definitely make Story Land an even bigger draw for families. I'm very excited that KE purchased the park and can't wait to see what type of plans they have for it.
  3. My guess is it will be one of Proslide's take on the Master Blaster, the Rocket Slide. These slides don't leak like the Master Blaster because there is a trough that catches the excess water. The one at SFNE is wicked fun and provides some pretty good air. The conveyor system works pretty well, but at SFNE it seems to have quite a bit of down-time. The acceleration and deceleration can be a bit jarring because the belts in essence catch you and then have to regain enough speed to launch you over the hill.
  4. Wow I've never seen the park so crowded! Hopefully it won't be that bad this wedensday.
  5. don't ask me why i have chinese pop music on my computer, but this song seems like a really good coaster song to me... ding dong-yuki
  6. A wheel on one of the rides cars flew off and hit someone in the head. From what I've heard, the Japanese are very superstitous and probably wouldn't ride it even if it did re-open. Does anyone know who's fault the accident was? If it was Morgan's fault than I would think there would be some sort of lawsuit involved because the coaster was so expensive.
  7. goodnight goodnight- hot hot heat what happens tomorrow - duran duran reach up for the starts- duran duran (yea old skooooool bands!) save a horse, ride a cowboy- big and rich (for powderkeg) save me- unwritten law (don't know if it will work but it might)
  8. Anyone know why the last car only has one row of seats? Is it because of the forces? I know TTD's trains only had one row before the "incident" but now it has two rows, which leads me to believe it's not because of the forces.
