  1. I see what you are saying. It's practically impossible to read though. I'm wondering what the pictures are making in the upper left corner of the puzzle. It looks like an extremely zoomed in shot of something...
  2. I highly doubt it will be anything like dragster. I am pretty sure it will have a vertical drop, however.
  3. Here's mine. It has a file name of hp_r5_c1. It looks like it's already at the right angle and doesn't need to be rotated. It looks like a pullout from a vertical drop...
  4. ^Strange...I haven't gotten anything. I've been on top of (or so I thought) everything so far...
  5. I emailed nantimi with a few questions and they said to focus on the "specialty" which I found out was base64. Eventually I (with a little more help from nantimi) I found that you had to put silver and gold in a base64 encoder. I had no idea about what base64 even was until this...I looked it up on wikipedia Keith "there's really nothing to do in my town on a friday night" Perez
  6. ^Actually, that's how you come about the latest clue. Donan is a specialist in base64 encoding. If you encode silver and gold in base 64 you get another web address, which is where the newest picture comes from. I had to ask them for a few clues to figure this one out... silver and gold in base64 is c2lsdmVyIGFuZCBvcmFuZ2U= Add that to the nantimi url and you get: http://www.nantimi.com/c2lsdmVyIGFuZCBvcmFuZ2U=.html
  7. So...anyone have the time to print it out and try to put it together?
  8. There's clues to another teaser link on the first page of the nantimi site now...This one's really complicated. See if you can figure it out. It involves the new employee. That's all I'm saying for now...
  9. When do they usually release a map for the event? I'm going Sept. 28th but won't be able to meet up as I'll be with some friends. We all have express passes .
  10. ^I think that's the idea. New site update: Silver and Oragnge huh? Possible colors for the new ride? Or pure idiotic speculation on my part? Guess we'll all find out on 9/27 (or for some of us 9/26 )
  11. Someone on another forum checked the IP of one of the nantimi emails and found (claimed) that it did in fact belong to Hershey. I lack the know-how to do this myself, can anyone else on here try that and see what they come up with? I am sold that this is a marketing campaign by Hershey, yet I have no concrete evidence to back it up with myself...I still haven't seen any solid proof that it is Hershey. But that doesn't mean that it isn't...
  12. Its killing me being the only person to know this...Took me about an hour to figure it out...So I will share my find...If you do want to figure it out for yourself read no further... I unscrambled the letters for the link on the portfolio page: /themtravelled.thRu It took me a little over an hour, but I finally have solved what I believe is as far as one can go in the puzzle. Unscrambled, the link is http://www.nantimi.com/truthRevealed.html And there you go. The biggest teaser for Hersheypark's new ride out there. Just go and see it for yourself.
  13. I figured out what I believe is the final riddle from nantimi.com...I don't want to take the fun away, but from what I have seen so far, the new coaster IS intamin and WILL have inversions...And the installation of the new ride will result in some slides being torn down...Have fun figuring it out...
  14. ^what do you mean? I still haven't gotten a response from my email... I might be going next summer and at the current moment I have nothing better to do
  15. ^yeah, I just figured it out and emailed it but haven't gotten a response yet...
  16. I don't think this has been posted yet... I was browsing around the Nantimi site and found that the "hypershaker" text under the jobs section is clickable and sends an email to hyper@nantimi.com with the subject "Found You". I emailed it and got this back: 01100011 01101011 01110010 01100101 01110100 01000000 01101110 01100001 01101110 01110100 01101001 01101101 01101001 00101110 01100011 01101111 01101101 00100000 01101000 01100001 01110011 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01100001 01101110 01110011 01110111 01100101 01110010 01110011 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01110011 01100101 01100101 01101011 00101110 00100000 00100000 01000001 01101100 01101100 00100000 01110111 01101001 01101100 01101100 00100000 01100010 01100101 00100000 01101011 01101110 01101111 01110111 01101110 00100000 01110011 01101111 01101111 01101110 00101110 00101110 00101110 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01110111 01101001 01101100 01101100 00100000 01101011 01101110 01101111 01110111 00100000 01110011 01101111 01101111 01101110 01100101 01110010 00101110 - Brian Inary So, does anyone know of a binary converter out there on the web to figure this out? I can't find one... EDIT: Just figured it out...it says: ckret@nantimi.com has the answers you seek. All will be known soon...you will know sooner.
  17. Are there going to be scarezones this year? Or is everywhere going to be a scarezone as in some of the earlier years of HHN? I haven't seen anything on the website this year about scarezones.
  18. Actually MILFPH is the nickname the photo people call their booth. I worked there most of June before I got moved back to Mean Streak photo I did see you guys on the midway that day, but I couldn't stop... MILFPH=MILlennium Force PHoto EDIT: And in case you're wondering it says Midgets In Leotards Fit Perfectly Here...MILFPH has the smallest booth in all of ride photo.
  19. Wait wait wait....Theme park review is at cedar Point TODAY??? I thought for sure it would be in a few days. Oh well, I'm going into the park right now. I'll be working at the mean streak photo booth tomorrow morning from open til 3 pm so stop by and say hi to a fellow tpr reader...
  20. Here's all of the LIM/LSM launched coasters I have been on: Rock n Roller coaster at MGM Wicked Twister Steel Venom (while it was at GL) Revenge of the Mummy (USF) Maverick For me Rock n Roller Coaster is probably the most intense but I have also had some very intense launches on Maverick. It all really depends on how much you slow down in the tunnel before you launch. Sometimes you'll hardly slow down at all and sometimes the train almost stops. The first time I rode it it really caught me off guard with it's intensity, even though I was expecting it. On a good run, it's probably about a 5 to 70mph launch in around 1.5 seconds by my estimate. Other non LIM/LSM coasters I have been on are: Hulk TTD Viper (back in the day at SFoG) And I'd have to say TTD's is my favorite and most intense launch.
  21. Installation of the new track is now complete, and speculation on Pointbuzz is saying that the new ride could quite possibly open on Saturday. Pointbuzz buzz: http://www.pointbuzz.com/cpplace.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=20854&page=16#320823 There's some nice pics here of the finished s-bend thing here: http://rollercoasterfreak.com/Cedar_Point/2007-05-23_Maverick_S-Bend/index.htm
  22. ^http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/blog/index.cfm
  23. ^Interesting...I heard a rumor on Point Buzz that they are going to try to open it on Memorial Day...Maybe there is some merit to this rumor after all, though that is only 6 days from now. Now I'm wondering if they will have to do another pull through just on this part of the ride, or if since it was testing before it will be more or less ready to go once they finish installing the new track (with a few test runs.)
  24. Well, in a sense, yes. Dr. Doom's launch feels more powerful and it gives you serious ejector air at the top of the tower. When I rode both sides of Power Tower last season, it just kind of seemed like a really fast elevator with only minor airtime. It was fun, just not as intense as I thought it would be due to it launching you 90 ft. higher. Dr. Doom has cool theming too.
