Just want to voice my own two cents here.
1. I understand the issue with Mean Streak photos. CP's trying to keep this under wraps for whenever they open. My GUESS is 2018.
2. If the opening's being delayed, then there's got to be something big about this coaster. Launch? Drop track? Extraordinarily long? Shipping issues? Whatever it is, I hope it's big.
3. I have no problem with this photo stuff. I'll just wait and maybe hitch a ride with Marty and Doc to 2018

Maybe they could place new soft-vest trains on Viper and market it as a new attraction? Or better yet, Phantom's Revenge the thing!
(Remember the time before RMC hybrids were a thing and everyone's dream was for a particular coaster to get the Phantom's Revenge treatment?)
No because I was like 6 but that sounds like heaven!

Given all the wild speculation that New Mean Streak could be RMC's biggest/longest/greatest/etc...
Maybe the reason for the weird timing of construction coupled with the lack of announcement is so CP can spread the cost of construction over several fiscal periods rather than just one off-season. Start it in 2017, finish in 2018, but avoid one big massive deduction to the 2016 off-season balance sheet. That would allow for one hell of a conversion .
So would this mean why Valleyfair, Michigan Adventure, and Dorney Park have been taking so long on cronstruction of all their coaster projects is to have it over serval fiscal periods?
Exactly... Every year CF puts a $20 in the jar for these parks. They'll get their coaster soon enough
If my math is correct, Dorney should be....
Last new coaster- 2005, hydra.
This year- 2017.
2017-2005= 12 years.
So, at 20 dollars a year, there will be 240 dollars in Dorneys jar right now.
Basing this off of a B&M coaster, going to say the cost of said coaster will be 30,000,000 USD.
30,000,000-240($ already saved)= 29,999,760 dollars to go.
29,999,760/20(money saved per year)=1,499,988.
So Dorney will not see its next new coaster for another 1,499,988 years.

RMC has already had its fill of lightning named coasters...
As far as the name goes, I tossed my quarter in the wishing well for something terrible. Like "Brown Coaster 1" or "The Pride of Sandusky." Basically anything that will cause a select portion of the coaster enthusiast community to lose their minds.
Oh, and I hope it has the most basic two dimensional logo ever created, pulled straight from Microsoft Word, using black Times New Roman font, and a rainbow drawn in cheap crayon from Mrs. Smith's third grade class at Sandusky Elementary School, on a coffee stained piece of paper.

Many guests already know that Disney FASTPASS is one of the best ways to make the most of their time at Disney Parks. This landmark innovation was first introduced at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World in 1999 as a way to provide guests with faster access to the fun. Over the years, Disney FASTPASS has evolved and expanded and is used at our theme parks differently, based on the unique ways our guests enjoy our sites around the world.
Today, I’m excited to announce further expansion of Disney FASTPASS coming to two of our most popular attractions — Toy Story Mania in Disney California Adventure park and Matterhorn Bobsleds in Disneyland park! When Disney FASTPASS first launched at Disneyland Resort it was available at four locations, and over the years the number has expanded to a total of 16 attractions with these two new additions.
Later this year, we will launch Disney MaxPass, which will allow guests to maximize their experience by providing unlimited downloads of their high-resolution PhotoPass images and by enabling the convenience of mobile booking and redemption of Disney FASTPASS return times – all by using the Disneyland App. Disney MaxPass will be available for an introductory price of $10 a day. Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders also will have the opportunity to purchase Disney MaxPass on a daily or yearly basis.
Guests will continue to have the option of Disney FASTPASS service at no cost by obtaining FASTPASSES at attraction FASTPASS kiosks, just as they do today.
The addition of these two new Disney FASTPASS locations and the introduction of Disney MaxPass is part of our ongoing commitment to providing guests with opportunities to customize their experiences and make it even easier than ever to create unforgettable memories.

So, if you want to book Fastpasses in the App, and get HD Digital downloads of Photopass Pics, you can pay $10 a day, or a yearly price yet to be announced.
I think its odd they are charging guests to the Disneyland Resort for something that is free for WDW guests. MyMagic+ does have up-charge options, but you are not charged for the simple convenience of being able to book a Fastpass through your app. I wonder if changes like this are coming to WDW soon?
To be clear, Traditional Fastpasses from the machines are still free. You only have to pay if you want to book through the app, and avoid having to walk to each location and get a physical Fastpass.

Goliath really is an incredible coaster if you can ride it in row one. Pulling back up that tower and hanging there staring straight at the ground is completely and totally insane.
So definitely yes. Only ridden it once but that part was crazy! FP got me in row one
